Can this one-sided longing,
This solitary yearning,
Be deemed a love tale?
When I'm still navigating the labyrinth of doubt,
Questioning if what stirs within me for you,
Is authentic love or merely a fleeting infatuation?
Can this soft whisper of the wind,
Be classified as a love tale?
Can this narrative, untold and unheard,
Be my personal symphony?
I remain tranquil, even if this tale stays untold,
In your world, my dear Philo.
There exist certain truths,
Better left in the shadows,
For these emotions I tightly grasp,
May burden your thoughts,
Even if they don't,
They could only breed expectations,
That I wish to avoid.
Ultimately, it might be me,
Who'd bear the scars of heartache.—ancn.
