It's the last night of chilly October,
Yet, curiously,
I felt no shiver.
As I replayed memories of you in my mind,
A realization struck me.
I discerned the part of you
That held me captive.
It wasn't your masculine side,
But rather, your feminine one.
Not the manly smile,
I occasionally see in your posts,
But that femenine smile,
That I see whether in posts
Or in person.
Whenever you arch your eyebrows,
Or when you roll your eyes,
At someone or something.
When you shriek playfully,
In a jesting manner,
When you laugh,
As you toss your head,
While fixing your hair,
Much like a girl would do.
It's not absurd that I admire you,
I strongly disagree,
For my affection for you is pure,
The way you've always behaved,
The way you've always been,
From the moment I first saw you,
I knew then,
I couldn't escape from you.—ancn.
