BLINK - NEGOTIATION
The meeting with regards to the plan of negotiating with Zarakis will not commence without the presence of Orlando who has to discuss something important with Ajax. In the meantime, Mr. Victor has brought me upstairs and I was sent to one of the rooms here in the bedroom quarters where I'll be staying temporarily while I'm here in the Sanctuary.
The gruesome scene has never left my mind even after Orlando has given the executives an order to take a break from torturing Ulysses. He is now locked up inside a cell, and was deprived of water and food which he badly needed right now. The meeting is yet to start. I still have a little amount of time to sneak inside the kitchen, bringing with me anything that are safe to eat and drink, and go back to the secret room to at least feed Ulysses. Unfortunately, Katarina has been discreetly watching my every move ever since I subconsciously ran towards Filipe —the guy who was holding the metal rod— to snatched it away from him.
She still was not convinced that I am a part of their Organization. I pledged loyalty to Helios, but what they did not know is that they're in great danger once I learned the truth about their plan against Zarakis. For the sake of Ulysses and I's freedom, I must gather necessary information as soon as possible. They still haven't milked out any information about Zarakis to Ulysses, therefore I must utilize my ability to jump ahead of them.
My ability wears off over time. When I was five years old, I was able to see the future self of an individual ten years from now. The years, months, days, hours, or minutes I could see from an individual can be adjusted as long as it doesn't exceed to ten years. As I grew older, the year is decreasing by five. When I reached the age of twenty, all I could see in the future of a person are the things that they will be doing in a span of hours.
He could die out there. How cruel are they? Orlando was once an executive of Zarakis. He could've hold back, and think about Yasmin's situation in the hands of their rival. Who knows, maybe she is currently receiving a fair treatment as their hostage. Or maybe, Timothee has his painless ways of letting Yasmin spill the information about their Organization, Helios.
He still hasn't worn a shirt to cover up his nakedness.
A white towel was placed on top of his face, that's why he didn't notice my presence behind him. Or so I thought.
"Going somewhere, Ms. Lucy?" His deep baritone voice has an English accent. It sent volts of electricity all throughout my body.
I believe those were the scars he got from countless battles that he had been through in the past.
"I-I got hungry. Where's the kitchen?" Despite having a nervous breakdown from within, my calm voice got the best of me.
My gaze went down on him when he removed the towel off his face. "The last door on the right side next to the secret room. I should come with you."
