Leah's pov

I feel a little nudge but I don't bother to acknowledge it. "Leah." I hear a soft voice. I opened one of my eyes and see a smiling Jennifer. "Mmm." I mumble. I open both my eyes and see her sitting next to me. "Good morning." She beams. "Morning." I reply and sit up.

I forgot I didn't have anything on so my boobs were on full display. I lift up the comforter and cover them. "I made breakfast." She smiles. I look at her face and admire her. She turns her body grabbing the plate from the dresser and putting it on my lap.

"Looks delicious." I said but I haven't looked at the plate yet. We make eye contact and she smiles at me. "Eat." She says softly. I listen and start to eat. It was actually good, really good.

"Yummy." I said. "Do you have anything to drink." I ask. She nods her head. "Um i didn't know which one you liked so I got orange juice and apple juice." She says and grabs the glasses. "Aww that's so sweet." She tilts her head cutely. "Which one?" She asks. "Apple." I said. "Mm, me too." She said and gives me the Apple juice.

"How'd you sleep?" She asks.

"Extremely good. Your bed is so soft." I said. "Thank you." She said and kisses my cheek. "Did you eat?" I ask her. She nods her head. "You didn't want to wait for me?" I ask. "Well you were sleeping for a little while and I didnt want to interrupt you but you ended up not waking up when I wanted so I ditched the plan." She shrugs. "Mm sweet." I tease.

"What are the plans for today?" I ask her. "I actually don't know yet. We can relax for the meantime until I figure it out." She says and goes to the other side of the bed and lays beside me.

"I already fed and took out Letty if you were wondering." She adds. I look at her and pout. "Aw thanks." I say. "Of course baby." She smiles. She's so thoughtful.

Days later....

"Do you really have to leave?" Jen pouts. I nod my head. "I do but we'll see each other soon." I said. "The next flight I can get I'll be there." She says seriously. "Okay baby, take care of everything first though." I said. She nods her head and kisses my lips. "I'm gonna miss you." She says between the kiss.

We break the kiss. "Go before I won't be able to let you go." She jokes. "Okay, drive safe." I tell her walking into the line. "Text me when you land safely. And then again when you get home okay?" She says. "Okay I will." I reply. "Okay..bye" she waves. "Bye Letty." She says and blows a kiss to Letty.

"See you next time." I wink at her.

I then took the plane all the way to New York which wasn't a short flight by the way. Plus my dad has been calling me nonstop this whole weekend, even Jennifer picked up on it. Thank god she is so understanding. But things are a little more serious. Now I'm having second thoughts. This is completely wrong. And even if her dad fucked my dad over, Jennifer isn't like him. She's so sweet and thoughtful. I don't know how I'm going to do this.

Hours later I get to New York, once again my dad requested that I see him before I go home.

I didn't drive but he got a driver to get me.

I had Letty with me so it wasn't too boring. She's my companion for everything. Eventually we get to the house and we get out the car. My mom opens the door before we get there and Letty crashes at her legs. "Hey sweet girl." She smiles. Letty loves her grandma.

"Leah! Welcome back." My mom says and hugs me. I hug her back and she lets me inside. "I haven't seen this puppy in so long!" She smiles. "I know, she's missed you. Clearly." I said. She looks down and see Letty jumping on her. "You want a treat?" She ask her and Letty goes ballistic.

"Remember not too much mom." I told her. "I know, I know." She says brushing what I was saying off. "I'm gonna talk to dad really quick okay?" I said. "Okay honey." She said.

I walk over to my dad office, which he is always at. I get there and see him smoking a cigar.

"Hello." I said making my presence known. "Leah." He says. I walk in and close the door. "Just got back from California I'm assuming." He says. I nod my head. "You assume correctly." I said. "Mm, anything new?" He asks. I shake my head. "Nothing substantial." I tell him. He sighs, dropping his head. "How come it's taking so long just to find something so little." He complains. "Maybe it's not little. It's pretty big things to find from them. Maybe they aren't as bad as you think. Well at least Jennifer." I said.

"Oh don't tell me you're actually falling for the girl." He says disappointed. I freeze slightly. Of course I'm not in love with her. I do like her. More than a friend. I mean she's the whole package. How couldn't someone fall for her. "Of course I'm not. That's not the point. Everything she does is perfect. Matter of fact before she picked me up she had a meeting with her lawyers about her legal issues." I said. He raised his brows. "And?" He asks. "And there wasn't anything to found, since she isn't dirty." I smart.

"Leah, don't get emotional on me now. You're getting yourself caught with this woman. I can admit the girl is attractive." He nods and licks his lips. I look at him disgusted. "Besides that, you don't get yourself involved emotionally. I don't need you bailing on the bit." He says. "I'm not bailing anything. There isn't anything to be found. And I'm not gonna be able to get to her father any time soon and of course he isn't gonna trust me." I tell him. "Yea, that why you'll make him trust you." He nods. "He's a good person, very good. Always trying to help people. You should have an easy time getting close to him." He explains.

"If he's so good then why are we doing this?" I ask. He cuts his eyes at me like I hit a nerve. "Just get me what I need." He says shortly. "That's if I find it." I tell him. "Whatever. Don't forget to update me." He says.

"Can do. I'll see you next time." I said and leave. This guys is frustrating as hell. I'm starting to think he's hiding something because there is no way he'll be this obsessed with Jennifer's father for nothing.
