Jennifers pov...

I expected to go back to Vicky's but we make an unusual turn. The car parks next to the very park where me and Leah used to go to for a lot of our walks. Oh my god what a lovely way to end our night. I know I was complaining about Leah being weird and distant but this completely healed me from all of that.

We get out the car and Leah brings out a big coat for me in case if I get cold. I smile and take it. She grabs my hand and our little walks starts.

We look around the park and follow the path designed for us and talk about the trees until Leah switched the tone.

"You know. I remember being here with you the first time and feeling so nervous and not knowing what the future for us held." Leah said randomly. I smile big and look down but don't say anything because im assuming she wanted to rant.

"Ever since that day, I second guessed myself every time I looked at you. You were so beautiful. So stunning and sweet. I fell in love with the way your lips moved when you talked. The way your body moved when I would kiss you. Your little smiles and your smirks making my heartbeat go faster just a bit more. The way you smelt always drew me crazy. I was starting to feel myself get hot and teary. Nervous and excited as hell. "-but it wasn't just how you looked that made me fall in love but the way you worked endlessly just to make everyone in your life feel comfortable, to feel loved and even if those same people didn't make that effort. You never gave up. Your work ethic is so out of this world, I wish I could amount to the things you do. I'm so very proud of you each and everyday that you chose me to be your girlfriend and I promise to prove to you that when I fucked up that one time in our relationship that, that would be the last time I did that." She says softly and stops me from walking. I look at her feeling tears welling up in my eyes. She smiles faintly and I see her lip quivering. She's gonna cry.

"Jennifer..would you do me the greatest honor of becoming my wife? To be with me for the rest of your life and I promise to love you until your last breath?" She goes on her knee. It almost hurt me because I didn't want her to feel uncomfortable in any way. Her nerves were sky high you could tell.

She grabs the box and opens it, revealing the most beautiful diamond emerald cut ring I have ever laid my eyes on.

She raises her brows at me. I get confused for a second until I realized I haven't said anything. "Oh my-go-yes! I would love to marry you!" I squeal happily. She grabs my hand and slides the rock on my finger. The tears that were being held in finally escaped.

"Leah-I just" I stutter. I just couldn't put into words the amount of happiness I was feeling in that moment. I kissed her, I kissed her hard. "I-love-you." I said between kisses. She grabs my face and laughs. "Thank god you said yes...cuz that uppercut was gonna be mean as hell otherwise." She said and I laugh even louder. "Just kidding, obviously, I couldn't mess up that pretty face." She said cutely.

Somehow I don't know how, we ended up at a hotel. We get in and Leah already had her key. What the hell?

We go all the way to the top floor and I realize Leah got a suite. Holy shit.

We go in and I marvel around the beauty of it. Leah grabs my hand and brings me to our bedroom. There I saw our luggage's. "You planned this out to the tee." I said. She nods.

Suddenly she pushes me on the bed roughly. I whimper in surprise because I did not see that coming.

"I planned on..proposing to you too." I said softly and shyly and show her the ring. She looks up at me with an almost hurt, happy expression. Like she was surprised and it made her cry. It was beautiful to witness.

"Thank you baby." She says with her cracking voice. I slip it on and kiss her hand. "Ugh we're engaged!" She cries out and covers her face. I pout and uncover her face.

"Just think about it. We can be sugar mamas now." I smile but she continues to sob out of happiness. I giggle and hug her. I never imagined my life turning this way but god am I grateful that it did. Just to think it was because of a wedding that brought us together.
