Explaining Things - Success

The kennels were full of rowdy pups. Kiba grumbles as he attempted to fix a fence but the pups kept bumping and misaligned his fences, making it hard for him to nail it down. He barked orders at them several times but get insults in return for his trouble. They refused to acknowledge him as alpha and it irks the young Inuzuka endlessly.

"Kiba!"

Kiba sighed in relief, "Hinata! There you...are..." His eyes landed on the blond carrying the bundle of wood beside her, "Why is he here?"

Naruto answered, "I just want to lend a helping hand,"

Kiba opened his mouth to argue but then noticed that all the pups had fallen silent. He looks around him in confusion.

One pup huffs at him, [Kiba is a fool]

Kiba frowns and barks, [What's that supposed to mean?!]

Another pushes their nose against his leg, [Don't challenge Great Alpha]

Another whines, [Storm and lightning! Storm and lightning!]

They all starts howling, [Great Alpha! Great Alpha!]

Kiba looks around him in a fluster as they starts howling and yipping all around him. Hinata looks around in concern, "Kiba, what's wrong? Is there an enemy nearby?"

Kiba shakes his head, "I don't know! They keep yelling Great Alpha to me!"

Naruto twitches and sighs. He then whistles high, causing Kiba to wince at the pitch. The pups quiet down and while Kiba is busy picking at his ear and Hinata frets over her teammate, the dogs look at him to find him smiling and a finger pressed over his lips.

Quiet.

Secret.

They sit down and rolls over to show him their bellies.

Kiba looks at the obedient pups in utter confusion, "Oh come on! That is just not fair!" He waves his hands, "You won't listen to me but you will listen to this pimp?!"

Naruto's brow twitches.

Pimp?

What part of him look like a pimp?

Hinata sighs, "Kiba, can I just start of that hole you told me about?"

Kiba grumbles, "It's this way," He glares at Naruto and mouthed behind Hinata's back, "I got my eyes on you, pervert," He flips Naruto the bird before joining Hinata, walking a little too close to her for Naruto's comfort. He's really getting on the blond's nerve.

Can Naruto trash him? He can trash him, right? Just a little zap? An itty-bitty little zap?

Kurama cackles, "Go for it!"

Menma adds, "Just run lightning through him like a lightning rod!"

Naruto slips between the two, snapping static shock against Kiba's side as he did and causing the Inuzuka to jump away from the sudden pain, smiling at Hinata, "So where is the hole that need patching up?"

Hinata points at the damaged fence, "There,"

Kiba pats his side that Naruto snaps static at and frowns, "What the fuck? I'd say, you need to lower your salt intake, man. That is one hell of a static," He catches Naruto's blues before scowling, looking away with a flush, "Not that I care about your health or anything, baka!"

...tsundere?

Hinata giggles quietly beside him, certainly not helping the sudden new image Naruto have of the brash Inuzuka boy. It seems that Naruto really don't know his peers. Then again, he was 9 when he had to leave and even though he was in the Academy then, it wasn't like any of them would willingly get close to him. Shikamaru and Chouji were probably the two he was closest with. He knew Kiba looked down on him because he has that familiar look in his eyes that the rest of the adults have whenever Naruto looked at him during class.
