Haruto And Hinata

Naruto found Hinata by the river with her team, apparently trying to find an item that someone had dropped into the stream. She had taken off her crème coat with the fur, leaving her in her thin black kusari that stick close to her form. She also had her pants pulled up her calves, her shoes beside her coat. She waded in the shallow water, her Byakugan at full power as she looked through the watery veil. Meanwhile, her teammates does the same on other parts of the river.

He greeted her Jounin Sensei watching over Team 8, "Greeting, Yuuhi-san,"

Kurenai looked at him and returned his greeting, taking note that he has a different person attending him that morning, "Good morning, Haruto-san," She also took note of the single pot of dwarf sunflower with orange petals and the box of cinnamon rolls, "Are those for Hinata?"

Naruto nodded, "Yes. I just think it's polite to bring her gifts of friendship,"

He had listened to Shuichi explaining to him the meaning of flowers and decided that sunflowers would be a safe choice to give Hinata. It carries the meaning of positivity, strength, loyalty, and admiration. Very safe meanings that even for people who like to make something out of nothing could not really make up stuff. It is also a very happy flower. Perhaps a part of him wanted her to think about 'Naruto' as she had told him during that long carriage ride that Naruto's hair reminded her of sunflowers. The sight of his hair and his smile made her day.

He still doesn't know how to break it to her that he's Naruto.

Kiba suddenly crowed in victory and Kurenai laughed, "He must have found it,"

Hinata looked up and stopped when she saw Naruto. Naruto shrugged as he showed the two items in his hands. Climbing onto the grassy riverbank, Hinata greeted him, "Hello,"

Naruto grinned, "Hinata! I got you cinnamon rolls...and sunflowers! I hope you like sunflowers,"

Hinata smiled, "I do. Thank you," She quickly put on her shoes, wiping her hands on her pants before accepting the two items from him, "Where were you? I didn't notice you around Konoha,"

Naruto chuckled, "Oh, that? I was stuck doing work for a while at Aoshi's,"

Hinata hummed, "I see," She looked at Shuichi, "And this is?"

Naruto introduced him, "This is Minamino Shuichi. He's another one of mine,"

Hinata nodded at the man, "Greetings. This is my teacher Yuuhi Kurenai. The bespectacled one is Aburame Shino and the one with the facial marking is Inuzuka Kiba. The puppy is his partner, Akamaru,"

Shuichi bowed his head with a smile, "Hello,"

Shino nodded his head stoically in greeting and Kiba awkwardly does the same, Akamaru barking in his hood. Kurenai smiled, "You have quite the entourage following you, Haruto-san," She noted, "Yesterday are two Samurai. Today is a businessman?"

Shuichi grinned, "Well, someone has to sponsor his travels, no?"

Naruto's brow twitched, "I don't even spend that much," He bit his tongue before he could slip out his verbal tic that he had apparently inherited from his mother. Hinata, who he knew watched him closer than anyone he knew, would definitely call him out if he does that. He could tell that Shuichi had noticed and was just laughing at him. Well, he wanted to come clean too but it has gotten complicated and awkward, dattebayo!

Hinata giggled, "I see,"

Naruto resigned at being seen as a carefree nobleman's son by Hinata.

He decided to change topic, "So, are you still on mission after this?"
