Tsunade had received a summon to the Fire Temple and it is only because of the imperial symbol that she even moves her ass. When she arrived at the temple, the monks immediately takes her to a room. Thunder crashes outside, the trees creaks ominously as the wind beats against everything relentlessly. She is taken to a room deep inside the temple and found Kakashi standing quietly by the door.

He looks at her, "Tsunade,"

She is no longer his Hokage and he has no reason to defer to her as his superior. She nods at him either way and asks, "What is going on? This weather is not normal at all,"

Kakashi sighs, "How long can you keep a dead body stable?"

She blinks, "What?"

He takes her into the room to see the reported missing Hyuuga Hinata, pale as a corpse on the futon with two Oniwaban healing experts working on the girl. Stepping forward, Tsunade starts running her diagnosis on the girl and looks at Kakashi, "She's..."

Her heart is missing.

It's a void in her chest cavity.

Kakashi nods, "Kidoumaru managed to lure Naruto to him by...luring Team 8 to the area using the Bikochu Mission. At least, that is what Yato told us,"

Tsunade frowns, "Team 8 is led by Shino since his clan is in charge of the Bikochu's breeding area. I had thought that someone asking the help of the Aburame Clan to use the Bikochu to find someone as rather suspicious but...Shino had wanted to take on the mission since he had always wanted to see a Bikochu either way. However, when they returned yesterday, they told me that Hinata had run away. They don't want to think that she defected or turn rogue so they had begged me to let them find her. Although before coming back, they had tried to track her but something blocked Shino's Kikaichu's ability to follow her and Akamaru cannot follow after her scent. They quickly return when the weather turned really bad and..." She sighs, "That must be when Kidoumaru found her,"

Naruto had told her about the danger of Kidoumaru. And since as long as Hinata's in Konoha, she is safe, he will have to lure her out. The only thing that will allow Hinata to go outside Konoha's protected border would be a mission. Kakashi hums at the explanation as to why she's not with her team and nods, "She must have noticed Kidoumaru and ran off before her team can be caught in the crossfire. After all, she knew well that the only one he would have gone after would be her,"

Tsunade looks at Hinata, "...what are we trying to do? Without her heart, reviving her would be impossible. Not that we can. I...I am not that good," For all her prowess in Iryojutsu, reviving the dead is beyond her.

Kakashi shakes his head, "Naruto had ordered Hinata to 'live',"

Tsunade frowns, "Can that even work? I thought he said that his ability does not affect those that had crossed the Sanzu River?"

Retsu clears her throat, "Heika is attempting a form of blasphemy,"

Tsunade looks at her, "Blasphemy? Wait, is he going to challenge Izanami?"

Retsu shakes her head, "No. There is something in this world that can twist fate. He already sent the people that can reach such a being out while he purge the world of Kidoumaru," She looks at Tsunade, "Our job is to keep her cells alive until that being arrive,"

Tsunade sighs and looks at Hinata. As she kneels down to wait her turn to keep her cells alive, she thought about Naruto. That boy don't know if he loves the girl but he wanted to marry her. However, for anyone who had seen and experienced love like Tsunade, it is clear that he loves Hinata. Perhaps not yet romantically but platonically, Hinata is the only one in his heart.
