It had been a bit longer than 5 months since Pink was released from her bubble.

Her and Steven had a lot of the time fixing up the old lighthouse, since it was pretty much in shambles.

There were now a couple decorations, lamps, and a hammock with a blanket and a couple pillows.

Well... the hammock was actually just an old bed sheet, but it still worked.

Pink wondered when she would finally leave the lighthouse.

She had been cooped in there for months, and she was desperate to see what the outside looked like again.

She was getting restless seeing the same thing over and over again.

Something about being stuck in the same place for so long just irked her.

She wondered what she could do to pass the time.

She supposed she could just take a nap, or maybe play one of those 'video games' as Steven called them on that strange hand-held device he gave her.

All she knew is that they were a good way to pass the time.

She also wondered when Steven would be visiting next.

Steven had been visiting her less and less. It went from being almost everyday to once or twice a week, three times if she got lucky.

She stared at the door, before letting out a sigh and flopping down in her hammock.

It was so boring without Steven here. It sort of felt like being in a prison cell.

Then, an idea popped into her head.

What if she went outside on her own?

Steven never told her why she couldn't go outside other than that there were supposedly people after her.

So... what if she had a disguise?

'There has to be something in one of these boxes.'

-

After rummaging through some boxes, she found some clothes, a hockey stick and a hockey mask, and a baseball bat.

She ended up wearing a big, baggy, light gray hoodie and a pair of pants. She put on the hockey mask and flipped the hood up.

She looked at herself in the mirror. She had a couple tufts of hair poking out of her hood, but that was fine.

As long as her gem and her face were covered.

-

She opened the door - blinking as her eyes adjusted to the bright light of the outside.

It felt like a flash bang.

Once her eyes adjusted, she let out a soft gasp.

It was beautiful.

The sky was blue, with a couple puffy white clouds.

A big ray of light shining in her eyes that she could only assume was a star in close proximity to the planet.

The grass covering the ground was a shade of vibrant green, and beautiful white and yellow flowers were blooming out of it.

In the distance, she saw a town. It must've been Beach City.

When Steven visited her, he'd always talk about Beach City and its residents.
