Roxanne's Pov

I grabbed the lights from Julie's hands, and I hung them up. She was out stretched because she was so short. I hung them up with ease and she stared at me in awe.

"I'm so tired." Eryn said, hanging up things on the walls.

"You should've come in before the party tomorrow, instead of doing it after your shift tonight." I smiled, and they both looked at me.

"Why did we not think of that?" Eryn said, looking at Julie with her mouth hung open.

"Fuck this." Julie put the lights on the bar and sat down.

"We can do this tomorrow." Eryn snorted out a laugh, causing us all to laugh as well.

"Sometimes I wonder what goes through your guys' heads." I said, still hanging things up as they both sat down.

"My feet hurt." Eryn groaned, taking her shoes off.

I laughed as I worked my way around the bar decorating. I love decorating for the holidays, it's the main reason I want to buy a house. I've always steered away from that idea though because it's easier to find my address.

I don't need my address leaked again, the first time it was hell. I couldn't even sleep without any little noise making me think that someone broke in. It caused me major anxiety that I know will never go away. Even when I'm done streaming, that anxiety will always be there.

"Are you okay?" Julie asked, putting her hands on my shoulders, pulling me out of the thought that I was in.

"Yeah, are you okay?" I smiled, and her smile dropped.

"Are you sure? You were spacing out a lot. Your brother told me you do that a lot when your anxiety is bad." She turned me around so I could face her and I smiled.

"I'm okay." I assured her, even though I wasn't.

There were so many things going on at once, and my thoughts were going a mile a minute. I walked around with a smile on my face before settling in a seat next to Eryn. Julie slowly came over, texting on her phone.

"Are you ready to go back to the apartment?" Julie asked me before I nodded, I felt everything get cold around me as we stood up.

"See you tomorrow!" Eryn shouted, with a smile as we got into separate cars.

I sat in the passenger's seat, putting my seatbelt on as Julie got ready. She started driving as music started to play, I scrolled through my phone, not paying attention to anything. I left Jason's texts unopened, I haven't answered him in two days.

I had to fight the urges to text him sometimes, but it was going a lot easier than I thought. I only wanted to check it in the morning to see what he sent overnight. He would send paragraphs, and so many messages, which would make me want to see what he said.

"Hey, we are here." She tapped me lightly with a soft smile.

I got out of the car, following her as we walked through her building. We walked around, the hallways were quiet because it was kind of late. She unlocked her door, and I made her go in first.

"Hey girls." Matteo came around the corner and smiled.

"What's up asshole?" I said, with a smile as Julie took her shoes off and threw them in the corner.
"How was your girl's day?" He asked, a smile forming on his face as he wrapped his arms around Julie's waist.

"It was good." Julie smiled, and I walked over to the kitchen.

"I think I'm turning in for the night, lovebirds." I said with a smile before rolling my eyes jokingly.
"Goodnight!" Julie yelled as I slowly walked into the room, closing the door.

"I don't know Matteo, she seemed so out of it at the bar. Something is bothering her." I heard Julie speak quietly and I softly sighed.

"I'll talk to her, okay? Don't worry about it." I heard him respond.

I quickly changed, and laid in bed. I looked at my phone, cleared my notifications, I put my phone on do not disturb, and closed my eyes, hoping that my dreams could take me away. I feel like there is a weight on my shoulders, and it's not capable of being lifted off of my shoulders.
