Knock, knock.
"Dean! Can you get that? I think it's Charlie!" Sam's voice called down the hall of the bunker as he towelled off his hair. They had called in some extra help on a hunt, but it turned out that they were able to solve it before the redhead even got there. However, that was no excuse for her to turn back around, taking advantage of the time to see her 'big brothers' and catch up on life. The boys had no problem with this; they thought of Charlie as the sister they never had; or, as Dean had once put it, never wanted. But now they loved her like she was part of their family, which was growing larger throughout the years.
"You got it!" Dean called back, getting up from his seat in the library, leaving his beer on the table as he ran his fingers through his hair, climbing swiftly up the stairs to the door and opening it. "Charlie!" He exclaimed, pulling her into a hug before his brain even registered that there was another girl there.
"Hey," Charlie grinned, hugging him tight before pulling back a little. "This is my little sister, Y/N. Sorry I didn't tell you I was bringing her along... It was a little bit of short notice."
Dean looked at you, his eyes blinking a couple times as he tried to keep his eyes up by your face. It took him a moment, but then he began seeing the resemblance between you and Charlie. A small smile lit up on his face before he looked back at Charlie.
"Does she know what we do...?" He asked Charlie, who quickly nodded her head.
"Yup. Everything."
"Well then... Welcome to our humble abode," he said, giving you one of his charming grins, opening the door wider to let both of you in. You gave him a shy smile, following your sister in and letting Dean take up the rear as you went farther into the bunker, meeting up with Sam and Cas.
~~
"A 67' Impala?" You repeated, laughing a little as Dean continued to talk. His eyes glimmered at you as he spoke about his Baby. You didn't really care so much for the car as for Dean. When Charlie had been telling you about the boys on the drive here, you hadn't expected him to be this charming and handsome. Of course, Charlie's preferences were elsewhere and she considered these guys like her brothers, but you couldn't help but think about Dean on a slightly deeper level than that. Call it a crush... Call it more, but you hoped he thought about it the same way that you did.
"You wanna see it?" Dean asked, drawing you back into the present. Blinking a couple times, you nodded your head.
"Sure!"
You didn't catch the glance between Sam and Dean, or Sam's eye roll as Dean winked a little. He got up and you followed him, winding down the hall to the garage. Once the lights flickered on, you could see many classic cars in your view, but one in particular stood out. It was in mint condition, and as Dean walked over to it, you could tell he was proud of it. His hand brushed across the hood, as though he was subconsciously inspecting it from the tiniest of dents.
"You weren't kidding... She's a beaut," you murmured softly, though your eyes had already trailed back to him after briefly scanning the car.
"That she is..." Dean replied in the same tone, scratching the back of his neck again as he made eye contact with you again. There was a silence... Perhaps a slightly awkward silence, and you could feel the blush fall across your cheeks. "Not as much as you, though," he added, a little smirk crossing his face, only causing the blush in your cheeks to darken. You looked down at your feet, swaying from side to side a little as you pushed your hair back behind your ears.
As you looked down, you hadn't noticed that he stepped forward a little, replacing your hand with his and finishing the job, playing with that tiny strand of hair. His thumb ran across your cheek, tilting your head up a little to look him in the eye. "I'm serious," he said quietly, "You're beautiful." A smile crossed your lips before his lips replaced it. You hadn't expected it, but had certainly hoped for it. The sweet feeling of his arm wrapped around your lower back, pulling you a little closer to him...
~~
It was an unusual feeling, waking up that morning to find a hand around your waist, keeping you pressed against a body. You blinked your eyes a little, letting out a yawn. There was no light coming in, since there were no windows in the bunker. It must have been that internal clock that had woken you up. Trying to shift a little so you could lie on your back, you felt Dean shuffle a little as well. As you managed to rotate a little, ending up a little bit tilted toward him, though still lying on your back.
"Morning, Y/N," he yawned, rubbing his eyes with the back of his hand and blinking hard a few times, trying to get the blurriness out of his vision. You giggled, watching him. "What?" He asked, furrowing his eyebrows.
"You're just funny when you're groggy," you replied. Even though you two had only met the afternoon before, you felt comfortable around him... Something you hadn't felt for a long time. In fact, you couldn't even believe you had fallen asleep together. One minute you were discussing the most random things; the second minute you were fast asleep, cuddled up close to him.
He gave you a lopsided grin, leaning forward and kissing you gently, "I'm glad I could amuse you," he replied.
Knock. Knock.
"Dean... I was just wondering where you kept the –..." Charlie's voice penetrated the peaceful environment. Dean yanked up the covers before she could really see anything, not that you had been doing anything other than sleeping, but the picture of you and him in bed were enough for her. She stared at the two of you like a deer in headlights, her jaw dropped slightly. "I... Ugh..."
Dean raised an eyebrow, giving her a little bit of a bitch face, which she quickly saw and took the message to quickly release herself from the hold of the picture in front of her.
"I think I'll ask Sam and see if he knows," she added quickly, backing out and closing the door hastily. The redness had lit your face on fire and you just wanted to crawl underneath the covers. It would have been bad if it had been anyone else, but your sister?!
"Sorry about that..." Dean murmured, chuckling after a moment.
"What's so funny?" You exclaimed, a little embarrassed and upset that your sister had just walked in and had seen you in bed with the person she considered her brother.
"Just... It's just funny that... Oh, nevermind," Dean grinned, pulling you in tighter to him and kissing your neck. You sighed, then let out a little laugh as he found one of your ticklish spots. The situation was quickly forgotten and you finally got out of bed half an hour later, taking a shower and dressing. Dean stood in front of the mirror, buttoning up his shirt when you finally re-appeared, folding your clothes neatly and putting them in your overnight bag again.
"Ready for some breakfast?" Dean asked, holding his hand out for you to take and motioning to the door.
"I'm starving," you replied, taking his hand and interlacing your fingers. You didn't know if this was going to last longer than your stay with the Winchesters, but as long as it lasted, you were happy. However, before you could go, he pulling on your hand, closing the gap between you and him. His fingers brushed across your cheek before gently falling on the back of your neck, dropping his head down and brushing his lips across yours.
Knock. Knock.
Dean sighed, pulling away again and rolling his eyes, "Don't enter!" He yelled, eliciting a giggle from you, though it was quickly muted by him once more.
