(Tumblr, written differently)

Dean dropped his book on the table with a loud thud. Sam jumped at the sound and I looked up when I felt the table shake. I didn’t hear it because I had my earphones in. The older Winchester’s lips were moving as he was talking to his brother. I pulled out the earphones and looked at him.

"What was that?" I asked him.

"I’m done with research and I’m sick of being stuck on the bunker." Dean told me. I raised my eyebrows as if to say continue. "So, we’re all going to a bar."

"I like the sound of that." I told them.

The brothers nodded and walked off to get ready. I pushed my chair back and hit someone making me jump to my feet and turn to see Castiel.

"Cas, I didn’t hear you." I told him. "You newly gave me a heart attack!"

"I apologize (Y/N). Where are Sam and Dean?" He asked me. I jutted my thumb to the entrance of the library.

"Getting changed. We’re heading to a bar because the guys have cabin fever." I explained closing my books after putting in bookmarks. I turned off my iPod and watched the angel sit. "Wanna come?"

"Oh hey Cas, wanna join us at the bar?" Dean asked. Then he looked at me and smirked. "Well, I’m sure (Y/N) invited you."

The two of us looked at each other and then at Dean. We both had confused looks on our faces. Dean, noticing our looks, gestured for me to follow him out the room. I followed him.

"What?" I asked.

"You invited him, didn’t you?" Dean asked me. I nodded.

"Yeah, of course I did. I like Cas." I told the older Winchester. Dean smirked.

"Yeah, you like him." He put extra emphasis on the word ‘like’. I chuckled.

"I don’t like Cas like that. I like him like you guys." I told Dean.

"Sure. Just go get ready." Dean waved his hand. I rolled my hand and nudged him as I walked past him into my room.

After changing into some clean jeans and a nicer t-shirt, I looked at myself in the mirror.

I don’t like Cas! What’s Dean talking about? Well, maybe I like the way Cas smiles when he says ‘hello’. I whenever he comes, he always likes to sit with me. Shaking my head of the thoughts, I finished getting ready and walked out my room. Sam and Dean were talking to the angel. All three looked ready to go.

"You ready?" Sam asked me. I nodded and Dean tossed his keys into the air. I followed the brothers out the room follow by Castiel. As usual, Sam took shotgun, Dean took the driver’s seat and I go stuck in the back. But I was with Cas, so it wasn’t too bad.

Once we reached the bad, we all found a table. There were quite a lot of people in the bar so we were lucky. Dean bought some beers and Sam went off to talk to some girl. Then Dean followed off to talk to another a girl. Leaning back in my chair, I looked at the angel who had taken a sip of his beer. I was halfway through mine.

"Having fun?" I asked him.

"Yes. I enjoy being out with you all." Castiel told me. I smiled at him. He smiled back.

"Maybe we should dance later? Or leave to watch a film." I told him.

"Whatever you would like to do." He nodded. There was a silence between us. I took another sip and finished my drink.

"I’m going to run to the bathroom. Be back in a few." I told him standing. I walked off to the bathroom past Sam and Dean. Both of them were talking to girls. I the bathroom, I did what I needed to do.

Once I finished, I walked back to see some girl talking to Cas. Whoever she was, she took my chair and was leaning forwards to show off her low cut shirt. I watched for a second and noticed Cas was looking uncomfortable. That was my cue to walk over and pull out Sam’s chair.

"Hey Cas, what’s up?" I asked the angel. He looked at me with relief.

"Who are you?" The girl asked me. I smiled and held out my hand.

"(Y/N), I’m a friend of Cas’. And you are?" I asked. She didn’t answer and looked at Cas.

"How about we get out of here?" She asked.

"No thank you." Cas told us.

"Oh come on, I don’t live far." She whined. I rolled my eyes.

"He said no, Sweetie." I smiled. She gave me a disgusted look as if wondering why I was still there. "How about you move on?"

"Excuse me, but this doesn’t involve you." She told me. "And who are you again?"

"Again, I’m a friend. Now, please leave my friend."

She stood up and looked down at me.

“You can’t tell me what to do.”

Then I realised she was drunk. I stood up and smiled.

"He said no. Thank you." I told her. Then my cheek stung from a slap that the drunk woman delivered. I rubbed my face. That would leave a bruise.

"You want more, bitch?" She demanded.

"You’re drunk. Please go." I told her. She threw a fist at me and I caught it before pushing her back. She stumbled and fell back.

"Goodbye." I told her before leaving and grabbing Cas’ arm. I pulled him out the bar and took a deep breath when I reached the night air. It was much cooler outside.

"Everything alright?" Sam asked coming out. I nodded as Cas explained what happened. Sam smirked at me and so did his brother. I shook my head at them.

"I will take (Y/N) back." Cas told them. They agreed and went back inside. Cas took my hand and we were in the bunker the next second. I rubbed my cheek where I was slapped. Stupid bitch.

"(Y/N), are you okay?" Cas asked. I

nodded.

"She didn’t realise what she was doing. She was drunk." I told him. He nodded.

"Why did Sam and Dean smile at you

like that? It was as if they knew

something.” He suggested. I laughed.

"Okay, well, they know I, well, I like you." I told him rubbing my face. It still stung.

"Let me," Cas touched my cheek and it tingled as it healed.

"Thanks." I mumbled. Cas smiled.

"I like you too." He told me before kissing me gently. I stood on my toes so we were the same height and kissed him back. I pulled back and smiled.

"Maybe we can watch a film?" I suggested.

"If you would like to." He smiled. I put on a DVD and sat on the sofa with Cas. I was curled up against his chest. The only time something good came out a bar fight.
