Two months had dragged by, each day weighing heavier on Yn's shoulders. The trepidation that had taken up residence inside her only intensified, feeding on her deepest anxieties. Fear and doubt swirled in her mind like a maelstrom, refusing to relinquish their grip.

Desperate for reassurance, Yn had scoured every aspect of Seojoon's behavior, searching for any hint of duplicity. But her efforts yielded nothing. He seemed genuinely devoted to her, and yet...and yet, a nagging sense of unease persisted.

The well-being of her sister, Harin, hung precariously in the balance, and Yn couldn't shake the feeling that she was taking a terrible risk by marrying Seojoon. So she had tried to postpone the wedding, citing her studies as a convenient excuse. Harin, bless her, had raised no objections, seeming content to wait.

But Jougsuk, that persistent thorn in her side, had continued to harass her, his presence a constant reminder of the dangers that lurked in every shadow. Yn had managed to evade him thus far, but she knew it was only a matter of time before he caught up with her again.

Yn's eyes snapped open in terror as she stepped into the living room. Seojoon and Jougsuk sat with her family, their faces twisted into grotesque grins that sent a wave of dread crashing over her.

Jougsuk's gaze locked onto hers, his eyes blazing with a malevolent intensity that made her skin crawl. But it was the smirk on his lips that truly unsettled her

- a smirk that seemed to say he had finally closed the net around her, that she would never be able to escape him now. Yn's heart slammed against her chest, her breath catching in her throat as she felt the weight of Jougsuk's trap closing in around her.

Her mom's voice cut through the air, "Oh, Yn, where have you been? You're going to miss the big news!" The excitement in her tone only heightened Yn's anxiety.

Her dad chuckled and added, "I'm sure Yn's already in the know, aren't you, sweetie?" Yn's heart racing, she nodded mechanically, her eyes fixed on Jougsuk's sinister grin.

Seojoon's warm smile seemed genuine, but Jougsuk's smirk was a cold, calculated thing. It sent a shiver down Yn's spine, her heart plummeting into darkness.

Her dad's question hung in the air, "So, when do you want the wedding?" Seojoon cleared his throat, his expression thoughtful. "As harin's wish"

Seojoon's words were like a balm to her parents' worried hearts. They exchanged a warm glance, their faces softening with affection. "That's very thoughtful of you, Seojoon," her mom said, her voice filled with gratitude. Her dad nodded in agreement, his eyes shining with appreciation for Seojoon's caring nature._____

The room was cloaked in shadow, lit only by the dying glow of a cigar between Jougsuk’s fingers. The scent of smoke mixed with the quiet menace in the air.

Jougsuk sat sprawled on the couch, legs wide, posture relaxed—but his eyes were razor-sharp.

I’ve watched her run, snarl, fight back like some wild little thing. But everything wild breaks eventually.”
He leaned forward, voice low and poisonous.“Yn’s no exception. I’ll crush her pride, her fire—make her crawl before she begs me to end it.”

Across from him, Seojoon stood in silence, arms crossed, his face carved from stone.

“I want her, Seo. Not just in bed. In chains. I want to break her. Make her mine in ways she won’t even understand. And when she finally looks at me with fear instead of fire… that’s when I’ll let her bleed.”
