Halloween attack

"Breakfast is ready! Happy Halloween sweetie!" I sit at the table as she sets my plate in front of me. "Your mother and I are going to Halloween party at a co workers house. Want to join?" I shake my head. "I think I'm going to stay here and pass out candy to the kids." He nods. "Ok but, I think you're missing out." I shrug. "I doubt it." Mom joins us at the table, dad checks his Apple Watch. "Time for me to get to work. I have a client with a skin issue." He kiss mom then kiss my forehead. "See you later my beautiful girls!" I finish my plate. "Would you like to come to work with me today in the nursery?" I nod. "Yeah."

I checked out a few people while mom tends to her plants. "Thanks, come again!" I dust my hands off on my apron. I helped mom a few times before at her nursery so everything came natural for me. Dad would love for me to come to work with him but he knows I can't due to patient confidential. "Here's some hot chocolate to keep you warm." I take a sip. "Isn't it amazing how some plants can survive in the cold while others survive in the heat?" I nod. "Will you be ok by yourself? I know we left you a know a few times lately but I still worry." I take another sip feeling the warmth go down my throat. "Yes mom I will be fine I'm just going to pass out candy to the kids." She nods. "Well I heard Shawn is staying home passing out candy as well. If you need something or want to get out the house you can go to his so you're not alone. We invited him to join us at the party but he declined after hearing that you weren't going." Mom wiggles her eyebrows and I roll my eyes. "Mom, stop." I say laughing a bit.

After helping mom with the plants we went out to eat. I can tell she wanted to talk about Shawn a little more. I set my fork down. "Mom say it, say what you wanna say. I know you want to say it." She gives me an exasperated sigh. "I just hope you Shawn get together is all." I laugh shaking my head. "You are really invested in our lives." She shrugs. "The two of you would make a great couple. You got each other perfectly I don't know why you don't see it. I think Shawn sees it too and knows you belong with him." I blush my heart races at the thought of us being together. Does he really feel the same way? My thoughts were interrupted when I see Shawn with a blonde girl in a short tight black dress and it's not his sister. "Storm-" I stop her. "No, don't, don't get my hopes up like that again. I'm too young for him, he prefers women his own age. Look at her mom she's beautiful and I'm-" she grabs my hand. "No, don't you dare say it. You are a beautiful black woman always remember that." I shrug. "I'm somewhat black." I point out, thinking about my Asian dad. "You're also a beautiful Asian woman."

After lunch we made it home in time for mom and to get ready for the party. I dress into my cat costume and grab an empty bucket. I set it on the table and take the big of candy and empty it in the bucket. "Alright honey have fun and if you need anything  call us or go to Shawn's." I nod waving by. I go back to filling my candy bucket. I throw the bag away and head outside with a chair. The cool crisp wind kiss my brown skin, I sigh scrolling through my phone. The sun goes down completely and the trick or treaters show up. Two kids, one in a turtle outfit and the other in a cowboy suit hold up their bucket.  "Trick or treat!" I hand them each a piece of candy. A couple with their baby dressed as a pumpkin. I gush at the sight. "She's adorable!" They smile. "Thank you." I give her a piece of candy in her bucket and she smiles, only having two front teeth in her mouth. "Too cute!" I wave bye. I continue to pass out candy through out the night. Shawn never came out his house instead he had a bucket of candy sit outside saying to only take one. I thought he was passing them out, I guess he changed his mind. "Hey baby miss me." The blood from my body drains. Zoe and Jackson stand in the door frame smirking. "Heard you're not going to the party instead you're staying home." I try to close the door but he blocks it. "How rude, we just came to say hi." He pushes himself in and Zoe follows behind laughing. "What do you want?" He smiles "you, to pay for what you did to us. Rumors at school are spreading around about us because of you. You made us look like the bad guy." Sounds like a personal problem to me. He looks around smiles. "Mommy and daddy isn't here to save your ass." Zoe shoves me on the ground and kicks me repeatedly. "Stupid bitch!" She begin to punch me repeatedly over and over again. Jackson stops her. "My turn." I watch him undress and my eyes widen.

I rush over to Shawn's house after Zoe and Jackson left. I knocked on the door repeatedly until it finally opened. It's the same blonde lady I saw him with. "What do you want?" She says disgustingly. Shawn moves her out the way. "Shit, Storm what happened to you." I began to cry, my body is too weak I can barely hold myself up. I fall against. "It's ok I got you, I got you." The blond lady rolls her eyes and leave the house. "Zoe and Jackson came after me and Jackson he...he...." I feel myself about to vomit. He takes me to the bathroom and that's exactly what I did. My costume is torn the bruises, cute and scratches can be seen. "Did he rape you?" I freshen myself up. "Yea, he did." He curse under his breath. "I will be right back, take your panties off, I will ned to put it in a baggy for evidence." He leaves shutting the door. I strip out of my costume and began crying again. Then there was a knock on the door. I crack it open, Shawn hands me the bag and I put my panties in there. After that I curl up in the bathroom shaking. "I called your parents they will be here in a bit." I find a razor on his counter and began to cut, cutting deeper than before until I blacked out.
