Octoberfest is around the corner but from the looks of it I'm about to pop before the 9th month. Shawn is in a panic and I try to calm him down but nothing is working. "Are you ok? Do you feel anything? Do we need to go to a doctor? Any contractions? Are y-" I place my finger on his lip hushing him to be quiet. "Shawn, calm down I'm fine. Can we please just get in the school before everyone start talking about us?" I wobble away into the school to meet up with Derek and Rebecca. We have four classes together and one of those is Shawn's. "Hey you two." Rebecca looks at my belly smiling. "You're almost there!" She says excitedly touching my belly. "Yeah and Shawn's been freaking out since last month-oh!" I gasp. "Is it the twins?" I nod. "I've been having Braxton hicks for a while now and it's freaking Shawn out." I lean against the locker breathing as I rub my belly. "Storm?" Shawn rushes over. "I'm fine Shawn." He grabs my hand for me to squeeze. "Maybe you should go home." I shake my head. "I'm staying, I'm fine."

I sit next to Rebecca in our math class and doing our school work when another hits me. Derek is sitting on the other side of me, they grab my hands allowing me to squeeze. These fake contraction are happening every few minutes as if I'm in actual labor. "Ms. Grey, are you alright? Do you need to go to the nurse for a bit?" He asks worriedly. "No I'm fine." The bell rings and it's time for English, the last class for today. "Jack you're next, please start reading." Shawn looks over at me while Jack reads, he mouths. 'Are you ok?' I rub my belly nodding when the pain hits again. Shawn quickly gets up but doesn't move. The students all turn to look at him. "I uh...thought I saw a spider, Jack continue reading then Storm can read next. I begin reading and Shawn could tell I was struggling to speak when I hear splash. Did I pee on myself again? Shawn looks horrified. He gets up grabbing his keys, my water broke, oh my god my water broke! At least the contractions stopped. "We need to get you to the hospital." I shake my head. "I will be fine my contractions stopped which means I'm nowhere close to being dilated. I can finish reading." I tell him and he loses his cool. "Fuck the reading! We need to get you to a fucking hospital. Class dismissed no homework." Shawn grabs my hand and we speed walk out the school with my friends behind us. Shawn helps me into the car while talking to my parents on the phone, Derek sits behind me next to Rebecca. "Shawn I'm fi-ah! Ok that hurt a bit but that doesn't mean- aaahhhh! Shawn drive, drive, I need to push!" "NO!" Everyone in the car yells. "Baby you know you can't push yet, you're not fully dilated." I groan in pain squeezing his arm. "Just breathe baby, breathe." Now I'm irritated. "STOP TALKING!! God your voice is so annoying!" I cry. "Why would you do this to me?" I cry. "Ah!" He rubs my thigh then does a double take. "Baby what are you doing? Why are you taking off your pants?" I whine. "I'm uncomfortable!" I began to take my panty's off when Shawn grabs both my wrist with one hand. "Don't." I began crying. "Why are you being mean?!" We finally make it to the hospital, my parents are already there waiting for me. Shawn helps me out the car and the nurses sit me in a wheel chair. "Please wait here until we get her set up and ready." Shawn kiss my forehead then they push me away to a room.

"Alright, you are only one centimeter dilated so you can't push yet." Shawn, my friends and my parents walk in smiling. "Hey baby, how are you feeling?" I whine. "Mom, dad." I tear up. "Oh sweetheart we're here." Mom kiss my forehead and dad rubs my head to sooth me. "You will be ok. Do you want to stand up for a bit?" I nod, Shawn walks over to help me, his hand rest on my lower back while his other hand rest on my belly. "Come on baby let's walk around for a bit." I grab pole that's holding my IV bag and begin walking with Shawn down the hall. "You ok baby?" I nod taking deep breathes. "We're going to be parents, fucking parents! I'm going to be a dad!" I stop and whine. "I want to push." Shawn stands in front of me lifting my chin. "Not yet, let's keep walking for a bit." We walk through the halls when we heard screaming. "You got this come on! Push, push, push!" The lady screams again, Shawn looks at me nervously. A nurse walks up to us smiling. "Please ignore the screaming, it's different for everyone." We continue our walking then go back to my hospital room so I can lay down. "Comfortable?" I nod taking another deep breath. "Contractions?" I nod taking another deep breath. "You got this baby." I tear up. "Do I? Shawn I can't do this, I can't do this." My parents get up. "Storm." I began sobbing. "I can't do this, I'm not ready!" Shawn and my parents comfort me as much as they could. "You got this baby it's ok, it's ok you're going to do great, just keep breathing." I scream in pain the contractions getting stronger. A nurse runs into the room and gets between my legs to check me. "She's almost there I will alert the doctor and get you prepped and ready." Another contraction hits. "I need to push!" Shawn rest his hand on my belly. "Don't! The nurse said to hold it no matter what, wait until the doctor gets here. You gotta wait baby, wait for our girls. Ok?" I groan trying to hold it i. "I'm trying-ah!" I squeeze his hand. "Breathe baby, breathe." Finally, what felt like hours my doctor finally comes in. They get everything ready and Shawn holds my hand m. "This is it, we're about to be parents." He kiss my lips then pull away so I can focus. "Alright when your next contraction hit start pushing." And that's what I do. "Push, push, that's it, that's it. You're doing great." I push again squeezing Shawn's hand, mom wipes my forehead and dad helps wake Derek up from passing out. "There you go keep going we're almost there. Push, push!" I push again tears streaming down my face. "You're doing so good baby." Shawn kiss my hand as I push again. "Ah!" I scream in tears. "You're almost there, one more push!" I push and I feel my body relax a bit. I pant watching them clean our first daughter until the next contractions hit and I began pushing again. "This next one should be a little easier for you." I scream pushing. "Come on baby you got this, you got this." I push again. "One more push she's almost there." I throw my back pushing as hard as I can then I hear another cry. My body relaxes and I catch my breath as tears fall down my face. "I want to see them, can I see them?" The nurses hands me my clean beautiful girls, they hand them to me and I couldn't stop crying. "They're beautiful." I say. "They're sure are, you did such an amazing job baby, they're beautiful." I hand Shawn our baby girls and the tears run down his face. "Fuck! They're so small." I smile weakly. "They are." He hands them to my parents to hold. " what did the two of you decided on a name?" Shawn smiles. "Sky and Rain Mendes." My parents smile. "That's gorgeous and- oh my." Shawn and I look at my mom worried. "What is it?" Mom smiles. "She has your great, great grandfathers eyes. Sky's eyes are blue." Dad hands me Rain. "Her eyes are grey!" Shawn and I look at each other worried. "Is Rain ok, should we be worried?" He shakes his head. "Of course not, this just means that someone down your family tree one of your ancestors had grey eyes and it looks like it skips generations same for the blue eyes. You have special beautiful girls." Mom hands me Sky. "Let's give them some privacy." Everyone except for Shawn leaves. "They're beautiful." Shawn pulls my gown down a bit so they can latch onto my nipples which they do. Their little coos and breathing makes my heart swell. "What do you we do about school?" I ask him. "Shit!"
