Proposal

It's nice and warm out here, my parents are on vacation and will be back next Friday, mom will let me know when they are back. This gives us time to separate from each other. A few of my class mates that are part of music club look at me with dirty looks. "You're such a slut, sleeping with a teacher and for what? Huh?" I roll my eyes and ignore Patty. "Guys drop it, we don't know there intent, Mr. Mendes has never been this happy before. Yea he smiles and speaks in school but, I could always tell he was not truly happy. Her and Mr. Mendes relationship is none of our business, they obviously love each other and that's what matter most and this is Storm we're talking about she never gets into she always keeps her head down books. So cut it out and leave her alone." I'm so hungry right now, where is Shawn? "I am back with snacks." Everyone sighs. "Finally!" We all say he sets the snacks on the table and sits right next to me. He grabs my hand stopping me from grabbing the snacks. "Shawn!" I glare. "You'de not eating that?" I scoff and why not?" The other students look at us. "Because you threw up the popcorn an hour ago and I know for damn sure you will throw that up too so I bought you something that I know you will love." He holds up a large corn dog, he smiles handing it to me. "I knew you would like it." He rests a hand on my thigh squeezing it gently. Patty sets her chips down. "We're sorry, what we said earlier we didn't mean it. Honestly we're kind of jealous." I laugh. "Why?" She looks at me bewildered. "Seriously? You're dating the hottest teacher in our school! You're lucky. Now tell us something. Is he good in bed, what does he look like naked?" I blush. "Well he's amazing in bed, like really amazing last time I could barely move, and it looks like the Greek gods sculptured that man." Shawn clears his throat. "Are we just going to pretend that I'm not here and that it's entirely inappropriate to talk about this? About me with other students." I giggle. "Mr. Mendes you are way past inappropriate. You fucked your student and got her pregnant." His cheeks turn pink. "Yeah, I did, but still it's awkward and a bit uncomfortable." I kiss his cheek. "I think it's cute to see you flustered like this and acting all shy all of a sudden but in bed you're-" he shuts me up by sticking the corn dog in my mouth making everyone else laugh. I take a bite off of the corn dog and hum, I rest my head on his shoulder closing my eyes. "How are you feeling baby? Is it going down easily?" I nod.

All of us finish eating and looked around at the vendors. "These are beautiful!" I say in awe at the painting. I gasp excitedly when I see an adoption spot. I pull Shawn's arm to get him to move faster. "Storm what are you doing?" I point giving him my puppy eyes. "The dogs need a home." He frowns. "No." I gap at him. "Why not?" He raised his a brow at me. "Because I will be the one doing all the dirty work while you sit and play with it." I whine. "I promise to take care of it, please?" He shakes his head. "We can't, not right now. With you being pregnant and your dad, I don't think we should right now. Not yet at least." He's right, of course he's right, I grab his drink and he stops me. "You don't want to drink that, it has alcohol in it. I got you water." He opens it for me and I drink. "When are you performing?" He pulls out his phone. "Shit! In 45 minutes." He pulls out his wallet and pulls out his card. "Get whatever you want, no pets." He kiss my forehead and I pout. He rush back over to me and kiss my lips. "I love you." I smile and he rushes off to get ready. I go to a stand that was selling body scrubs , lotions and oils. I smell a few and Fel in love with lavender breeze set so I buy that before heading back to Shawn. I find my class mates and join them. "What did you get?" Patt asks. "Oh I got myself some soap, body oil and lotion." Shawn is going to love this scent when I use it tonight. Shawn walks on stage, of course the women screamed and cheered. The music start and he lets his guitar as he sings 'there's nothin holding me back.' One of his popular songs. I dance to the beat and see him watching me with a smile on his face. I love the way he looks at me with those eyes. I'd don't dance too much knowing it will upset him due to my pregnancy. He transitions to a new song that I never heard before. "This song is called, when you're ready." He plays and start singing. He doesn't look at me this time and plays his guitar. Security walks over to me and guide me away from the group. I look at my classmates and they just shrug. I look over at Shawn and he smiles. What is he up to? They get me on stage and Shawn sets his guitar down  holding the mic he continues singing taking my hand. He kneels down on one knee, OH MY GOSH!!! Is he about to do what I think he is? He pulls out a box and open it once he finished singing. "Will you marry me? You are my light, you are the only person that makes me this happy and I want to be the person in your life to make you feel wanted." The tears fall, damn hormones. "Yes." I say quietly. "Yes I will marry you!" Shawn engulfs me in a hug and attacks my lips with his. He slips his tongue into my mouth deepening the kiss, my hands run through his hair and he pulls away catching his breath and slides the ring on my finger. "I love you Storm, your dad will definitely kill me but, I don't care." He wipes my tears. "I love you too."
