Mervin was helping Ronan with one of the boxes.
They manage to get a place nearby.
It was a small two bedroom.
Ronan's parents helped them find it and helped them a little with paying.
Mervin grew up upper middle class and had a lot of nice stuff.
He sold some of it to rent this apartment, it was stuff his parents got him so they could show off he never liked some of it.
Lucky for them this only took a week to get everything in since they got a lot of help with packing and moving also Mervin didn't have much to take with him but one of his siblings did empty out his old bedroom for him
Mervin was told that signing up to be a dad when he didn't have to was stupid but his respond was always after meeting Conner was "My parents suck also I have met Conner the baby's bio father by accident recently and well from the stories Ronan told me plus from stories Ronan's parents told me plus when what I saw, Conner doesn't want anything to do with Lora, I might not of helped create her but she's still my daughter nothing can change that."
Mervin wasn't the stepfather he was the father who stepped up.
