Maxwell's godparents are two friends of the couple who aren't in their friend group.
So much work was put in to just prepare for the adoption.
Maxwell is brown skin Latino but has naturally textured hair.
Benton knows how to take care of textured hair, he's braided Ayden's hair for him and even washed it.
He's as gentle as possible when he does it because he knows how to make Ayden feel comfort.
If Benton is around when Ayden has a panic attack from feeling too overwhelmed, he has pills and water with him.
He has a pill carrier with some of Ayden's panic for Anxiety and Adhd in them for just in case Ayden forgot to take them.
Someone asked who pills they were once and Benton said "They're Ayden's pill in case he forgets to take them."
Benton use to be in a lot of pain back in college from playing sports so Ayden decided to carry pain pills with him just in case.
Since Benton has came out, done right towards Ayden and they have the life they have now Benton is very happy.
He did once run into a former friend of his who made a big deal about Benton being with Ayden.
That guy got ignored until he kept bothering Benton about being a traitor to his friends.
Benton nicely told him to shut up and then he flipped him off.
Benton doesn't play when it comes to his relationship with Ayden.
He loves him a lot and if you talk crap about Ayden, you will other get ignored, yelled, cussed out in Spanish/Gaelic or get flipped off.
Ayden also once had to yell at someone for talking crap about Benton.
Now the couple are parents and know they will have to deal with people talking crap about their son.
They hope they never have too however.
