They arrived at the entrance of the school building, something that looked similar to a lounge with a reception table at the far front. There, Stella sat on one of the armchairs, scrolling through her phone as she waited. As soon as she sited Stella, she felt a pang of guilt as she had forgotten she was supposed to return back to the apartment complex with her.
As they stopped in front of her, she cleared her throat and started explaining. "My apologies," Stella looked up at her, her smile upside down now. "I completely forgot about the arrangement that was made," she avoided her stare.
Stella's gaze jumped from one person to the other before it settled on Lilley. She could feel her glare and judging stare. Her crystal blue eyes assessed her with a furrowed brow and a frown.
"Hey, frowning doesn't suit you," she heard Axel chuckle lightly. Her glare immediately moved to him. "Yeah, right. Why don't you take your own advice pink head," she sneered.
"It's Axel,"
"Whatever," she rolled her eyes.
The surprise in Lilley's eyes didn't last long before she remembered they'd obviously known each other.
"Woah, Stella, did you get more beautiful?" Nicky chuckled, but he sounded genuine. She shrugged. "It's possible," her gaze shifted back to Lilley. "Let's go–" she paused as her eyes narrowed, trying to remember the girl in the middle name. But quickly gave up with a sigh. She packed her things as Nicky stood there, bewildered.
He turned to Lilley. "You two live together?"
"Same apartment, yeah," she gave a tight smile.
"That's enough talking, brunette," she said as she pulled Lilley to start walking with her for the door. Lilley turned back and waved at them before focusing on her front.

As soon as she got home, she went straight to take a shower to cool down her head. She wanted to be able to think clearly. As she was done refreshing up, she lay on her bed as she just stared at her phone.
I'm definitely not dreaming, she thought. All this is too real, yet different. She was sure she was not in Germany or anywhere near Europe and had come to accept the fact that she has been brought here by some guy–wait, some guy?
She sat upright. The bus driver.Obviously, things were suspicious from the start. She tried to recall how everything played out. When she was talking to her aunt before entering the bus, he was inside? No, outside? She tried, but it was like her brain didn't let her as everything was blurry. She shaked her head. When she got in, when he was driving at top speed towards the cliff, she walked forward, telling him to stop. She tried to think harder.
She walked forward and... and what? The imagery was blurring, like it's blurring out the man, so she doesn't remember him. But from the glimpse she saw on the rear view mirror, he had dark brown hair that looked almost black. She let out a long sigh and laid back down. She can't find the person who brought her to the world based on some vague fact. How many people here have dark brown hair? She groaned as she ruffled in her bed, clearly getting frustrated. But he should be in the same world, right? Unless he went back.
What if that's what he does? Sends people to a different world, but that thought did not last long. She questioned how she was going to find the man now and demand answers from him. All she could currently go on was his hair colour, but then, her eyes widened as a new thought popped in. What if he works as a bus driver in this world, too? That is the only means he can use to be moving from one world to another? Now that seemed more plausible.
A faint smile appeared on her lips. That gave her at least a bit of hope. By the time she was done with her internal struggles, she realised it was getting dark, so she quickly packed her things; which was just her wallet, phone, and a small purse. And headed for the door. She was merely going to look around, she told herself.
