Film Emperor's Ice Queen

In the center of Shenzhen City, a quaint cafe nestled on the corner of a bustling street, exuding a cozy charm that drew patrons in like a warm embrace. Aromas of freshly ground coffee beans and baked pastries wafted through the air, mingling with the soft hum of conversation and the gentle strumming of an acoustic guitar in the background.

A woman sat at the corner table with her coffee order in hand, the ceramic mug warming her palms. She was wearing a simple white shirt with jeans, a black cap hid her face from prying eyes. Her vigilant gaze wandered out of the window warily, taking in the bustling street scene beyond.

The woman was none other than Suyin, Rong Lu Xue's manager. She disappeared right after she publicized Deng Lun's affair at the Met Gala. It was only this morning that she realized what a serious offense she had done to Rong Lu Xue. The moment she turned on her phone, the screen immediately lit up with a barrage of notifications. Her heart had raced as she saw the flood of missed calls, messages, and alerts from reporters and journalists. She knew then that whatever had transpired last night was now public knowledge, and the media was hungry for details.

The weight of her impulsive decision hung heavy on her shoulders, and regret gnawed at her conscience.

Because of me... Lu Xue jijie is being boycotted by her fans online. Suyin murmured, I shouldn't have provoked that illicit couple!

Her gaze moved to look at her phone. The barrage of missed calls and messages overwhelmed the screen. She knew she couldn't ignore them forever. Fear for the repercussions gripped her heart.

Ding! A message from an unknown number came in.

Suyin unlocked her phone and opened the message.

[Have you arrived?] It was a message from an unknown number. This number called her this morning, asking for a private meeting. The person knew that Suyin was the one who publicized the video online but instead of exposing her to the public, they had offered a deal instead.

[As long as you are willing to meet me, I can assure you that your safety will be guaranteed.] The message had said.

With the pressure looming above her and this mysterious message appearing like a lifeline in the midst of chaos, Suyin took that chance.

She glanced around the cafe, ensuring that there was no one around her to peek at her message, before composing a response.

[Yes, I've arrived. I'm sitting in the left-hand corner of the cafe.] Suyin typed, her fingers trembling slightly. She couldn't shake the feeling of apprehension, but the promise of safety was a glimmer of hope in the darkness that had descended upon her.

[I see you.] The message replied back.

Suyin's heart raced as she received the response. She glanced around the cafe, her eyes scanning for any sign of the person she was about to meet. Her senses were on high alert, every rustle of clothing and murmur of conversation seemed amplified in the tense atmosphere.

After what felt like an eternity, she spotted a figure making their way towards her. She couldn't make out their features clearly, but their posture exuded an air of confidence. As they drew closer, Suyin's apprehension turned to panic, and then, to anger.

The person reached her table, and Suyin looked up to meet their gaze. They were wearing dark sunglasses, and a hat obscured most of their face. But even with those disguises, she knew immediately the person behind them.

"Shi Qing..!" Suyin spelled her name with gritted teeth, her eyes blazing with venom. She clenched her fists, her knuckles turning white. "You set this whole thing up, didn't you?"
