The emerald green hills so distant and so far away,
And yet I see the beaming amber sun peaking out, as if awakening,
I wonder why the sky is so bright on this winter night,
The frosted over grass melting dew from the ice,
As I look out onto this view, this wonderful sight,
And yet without you it feels so empty,
I'd rather huddle close to you and we could cuddle if you'd let me,
I look onto the hills as one thought fills my head,
Such a stunning view is so lonely if it is left unshared.
