"May I know why?" Taehyung raised his eyebrows.

Jungkook stood in the empty corridor, his heart pounding as he faced Taehyung, who had an intrigued expression on his face. The lunch break was over, and the silence around them heightened the tension in the air.

He took a deep breath, his words stumbling out nervously. " I... I got interested in you," Jungkook admitted, surprising Taehyung with his confession. Even Jungkook was surprised by his answer.

The sunlight streamed in through the windows, casting long, slanting shadows on the polished floor. Jungkook's gaze was fixed on Taehyung's eyes, which were a deep shade of brown, filled with curiosity.

Jungkook's hands were slightly trembling, and he nervously tugged at the strap of his backpack. The weight of his admission hung heavily in the air, and he anxiously awaited Taehyung's response, their surroundings seeming to hold their breath along with them.

"Cute" Taehyung blurred out.

"huh," Jungkook looked innocently.

"you are the one who left that drawing right?" Junkook nodded.
"Why are you interested in me?" Taehyung asked voice having a bit of playfulness and curiosity.

"I don't know" Jungkook hung his head and found the floor more attractive than the handsome man in front of him.

"Go, the classes have already started. Don't waste your time on me." Taehyung said.

Jungkook's disappointment weighed heavily on him as he received a nonchalant reply from Taehyung. In truth, Jungkook wasn't entirely certain what he had expected from Taehyung. Perhaps he had secretly hoped for a warm and enthusiastic response. The enigma of Taehyung had left Jungkook in a state of uncertainty, not knowing what he truly wanted or how he wanted their interaction to evolve.

It's been a week after the encounter of two males, and a sense of normalcy returned to the college. However, a subtle change had taken hold in Jungkook's life. Jin's exciting opportunity in a movie led to his absence from college, leaving Jungkook without his close friend and constant companion.

Jungkook's desire to see Taehyung grew stronger with each passing day. He found himself yearning for even a glimpse of the enigmatic male he had followed and confessed to. The moments they had shared in that quiet corridor seemed like a distant memory, and he longed for a chance to speak to Taehyung again.

But fate didn't seem to be on Jungkook's side. Despite wandering through the college campus during breaks, attending classes, and even searching for Taehyung in various places he knew him to frequent, he never caught sight of the elusive figure. It was as if Taehyung had vanished, leaving Jungkook with a growing sense of emptiness and curiosity.

Each day brought a renewed hope that he might cross paths with Taehyung, yet disappointment loomed as time slipped by without their paths intersecting. The longing in Jungkook's heart only intensified, and he began to wonder if their brief encounter had been a one-time occurrence, or if there was more to discover about the individual who had piqued his interest.

On that particular day, Jungkook's classes had ended, and he found himself with an unusual amount of free time because he had no other classes scheduled. He decided to use this opportunity to continue his search to find the person he had been searching for during the past week.

With determination, he strolled through the campus, retracing his steps and scanning every corner, hoping to catch a glimpse of Taehyung. But as the hours passed, his hope began to wane, and a sense of resignation settled in. It seemed like Taehyung remained as elusive as ever, and Jungkook was ready to give up on his search.

Just as he was about to abandon his search, something caught his eye. The sky above was adorned with a breathtaking display of colors, with shades of pink, orange, and purple painting a mesmerizing picture. The sun was beginning its descent, casting a warm glow over the campus.

Inspired by the beauty of the sky, Jungkook decided to head to the rooftop of one of the campus buildings. He thought it would be a peaceful place to collect his thoughts and enjoy the view.

The rooftop of the campus was strictly off-limits to students, and Jungkook was fully aware of the rule, but on that particular day, he was willing to bend it. As he reached the rooftop, he noticed an abandoned bench nestled in the corner and decided to settle there to enjoy the beauty of the natural world and the stunning sky.

Taehyung was sitting in the corner resting his head on his lap. The little sound of footsteps alerted him of the presence of someone. He looked toward the sound and saw Jungkook sitting on the bench.

"Is this a coincidence or do you follow me here?" Jungkook jumped from his seat when he heard a voice, he never expected someone to be there more precisely the person he searched on the entire campus.

"You scared me," he exclaimed, still reeling from the surprise, hands instinctively clutching his chest.

But as he observed Taehyung's puffy red eyes, concern replaced his initial shock. He couldn't ignore the distress evident in Taehyung's appearance. Silence engulfed them.

"Are you okay?" Jungkook asked, hoping to break the awkward silence that hung between them. However, his question went unanswered, and the silence remained, thick and uncomfortable.

Feeling that perhaps he had overstayed his welcome or made Taehyung uncomfortable, Jungkook decided to gather his belongings and make his way back down. He slung his bag over his shoulder and started heading towards the door.

But just as he was about to leave, Taehyung's voice reached him, causing Jungkook to halt in his steps.
"Can you please stay for a while?" Taehyung's request held a hint of vulnerability, and Jungkook found himself torn between his initial intention to leave and stay silently providing an unknown comfort to the other.
