Does it look to you as if she's in love with jan?" Gloria asked kendra they had got home from the Christmas eve party and Gloria has called
"Ah you're catching on" kendra said "i was wondering when you were going to catch on" kendra said
"Not that i wasn't catching on but i was simply observing" gloria said
"She think she's going to just come take your man" kendra said
Gloria didn't say anything she wondered if jan was building on a relationship with her since she's around him or if it is that she tries to get back to him if he'll accept her,
"Well she's to know Jan only want you" kendra said
Gloria laugh feeling pleased to hear that for it was true jan love her much she can only imagine what was going through his head when she didn't go back to look for him that long period of time, but they talked so nicely last night and she didn't have to ask if he had enjoyed the time with her,
"Come with me to the dinner party I'm sure you don't need to think about it anymore" Kendra said
"I'm no longer thinking about a written invitation" Gloria said
She can't believe jan didn't even mention that the family were throwing a party on his behalf telling her to come she was a little disappointed but she rather be disappointed now than later on when that therapist of his claims him for herself and she ended up having nothing'.
"I have to find something nice to wear" Gloria said
"You will find something go ahead and let's go do our nails and hair in the morning"
"Ok nine will be good for me"
"By the way did you call Kavoy?" Kendra asked
Gloria hissed she didn't even call Pete and he's who she's seeing now who's Kavoy and why would she just call him,
Kendra laugh when she hissed "never mind goodnight see you tomorrow"
"Ok" Gloria said
"I wonder how much Kavoy knows about her?" Kendra asked before Gloria got off the phone
"All he talks about is that what she did for his grandmother" Gloria said
"I must admit she's good for her to get Jan off his wheelchair she must have done something right, right?" Kendra said
"Mmhmm" Gloria admit
"Maybe they're" kendra said
"Having sex, Jan is not functioning in that area I wonder if he will" Gloria said
They both laugh
"We'll know see you tomorrow" Gloria said
They finally hang up and Gloria went to look for a nice dress for the dinner party, she found something that she settled for change into her night dress climb into bed and called Pete,
"Merry Christmas" Johanna said walking in the livingroom Saturday morning early to find
Timothy, Julia, Barry, Lauren and jan with May, miss Maclean and Ian
"Merry Christmas" they all responded
Jan turned and greet her with a warm smile, "Merry Christmas" he replied "Merry Christmas the others said
They were together opening Christmas gifts jan scrambled off the sofa over to the Christmas tree he took up a small box wrapped in purple gift paper and tied with a white bow he dragged over to hand it to Johanna, he smile hug her shoulder kissing her strongly and softly a kiss straight to the mouth, "Merry Christmas" he said with another dazzling smile rubbing his forehead against hers,
Johanna wasn't expecting that grin sightly especially when the others were caught looking at her,
"This is for me?" She question as she pursue to open up the little gift surprise at her discovery a nice gold bracelet her name engraved in to it, it was magnificent and she falls for it right away,
"It is for you" Jan said he was next to her holding her shoulder he help her into it soon as she took it out and held it in her palm,
He wrapped her hand around his waist holding it there they both smile at each other jan kiss her forehead then her cheek,
Barry widen his eyes at Lauren who smile,
"Johanna Merry Christmas" Julia said she handed her a gift bag "from the family we all want to thank you for not giving up on Jan and for helping him to gain a second chance of walking, I'm sure it was challenging but look at him I can see how happy he is now I think deep down he appreciated it do much" Julia said
Jan smile nodded as he pulled Johanna's cheek to kiss it softly,
"Wow" she said on opening it up and was greeted by the fresh purple blossom flavor that happens to be her very favorite, there were bath and body works candles and a robe with a purple rubber duck all in the same purple, Johanna wondered who told them that purple was her favorite color,
"I hope the fragrance is good for you for we weren't sure we just chose purple color and purple blossom flavor because that's Jan's favorite"
"It's fine mrs Reeves I love it purple is my favorite...." Johanna trail off for she came to realize what Julia had said, She turned around to look at Jan who smile at her, she tremble as she watch him, her heart beat faster,
They exchanged gifts for a while and talk before miss Maclean serve breakfast,
Jan cut a slice of roast yam from his dish and feed it to Johanna for he had came to sat next to her,
Johanna nod, "It's good" she said
Jan chuckle "yes he agreed kissing the corner of her mouth,
they finished breakfast and jan got to his feet taking his walker he was near out the kitchen door when he turn, "Johanna can I have a moment of your time?" He asked
He haven't been getting an errection but he felt a little hardness he could work with and could use some of her love,
Julia look at Lauren and Barry and smile,
Johanna got up and went with him he was going inside his bed room she entered and he close the door, turn her to face him and kiss her, he eased her on the bed laying himself on her, for a while they spend sometime in each other's presence,
Johanna rest her head on Jan's chest and he held her on him,
"It will get better" Jan said Johanna smile at him, "I don't really care" she said it was the truth what they get to share now was more to her than anything for it was better than nothing she wanted to spend time with him and couldn't now she's getting a chance and wasn't going to spend time complaining about what he can't off it wasn't hard but it gave a sweet feeling and she climax which was good,
"Join me in the shower" Jan said
Johanna agreed
Jan brace both hands on the shower wall having Johanna in between them, she held his waist "are you hurting in anyway?" She asked
Jan shook his head he smile, "I'm ok" Johanna cuff both cheeks kissing him softly, "you should rest those thighs we are getting back in to more sessions after the holidays" she told him,
Jon nod she kiss him help him to the bed room then went over to her room to settle herself and fix up,
it was after midday and they were getting things ready for the guests
"Jan or Johanna haven't emerged from what hole they had crawled into earlier?" Julia asked
Lauren look around on her then to Barry who was just grinning,
"It's good that she's giving him her time it's helping" Julia said
"I have no objection" Timothy said
Barry shrugged
They all look when jan push into the kitchen on the stroller He was with out Johanna but he was dress in a nice red suit almost like a Santa suit and of course he wore his hat he has been since last night when they went to the party,
"Nice suit" Barry said
Jan look down on it then smile, "Johanna gave it to me as a Christmas gift"
"It suits you" Julia said hugging Jan's shoulder she kiss his cheek "I think she suits you"
Neither of them miss the Way he blushes when his mother said that for a while he held a sweet soft smile that kept his face light up,
"So what do you think our guests arriving soon will need?" Johanna asked she had walked in the kitchen with four different bottles of wine she had just found on Jan's wine shelf, "Italian, German, French or France?"
They look around on each other trying to decide,
"We will have like three different sets of guests I'm sure something different will work" Jan suggested
"Who said Jan can't make decisions?" Johanna asked
Julia shook her head "it wasn't I who said that, did you Hon?" She asked Timothy
"When would I passed such remarks?" Timothy joke
They laugh,
Johanna smile at him she left the drinks to chill went by him and slapped his bottom,
He turn to smile at her,
Dinner was to begin at three Tony came around two he and Keisha,
"Wow Jan you look wonderful" Keisha said
"My suit?" Jan asked
It wasn't just his suit his face his body and the fact that he wasn't sitting in a wheelchair but bracing himself on a stroller,
"I love the suit" Tony added
"It's from Johanna" Jan said
Tony smile as he look at Johanna,
"It's nice seems Johanna knows what suits you" Keisha said
Julia nodded
Gary came ten minutes after Tony and Keisha, he came with Mel and the children Amy and Dugaune they both ran to jan almost knocking him off his feet, he giggle as he hug them they ran to Johanna's side like Jan she showered them with hugs
She share a hug with Mel
"You're looking lovely Johanna" Mel said
"Thank you I actually feels that way" Johanna said
The others laugh,
Levi came with a woman he introduced to Johanna as Wanda the others seems to have met her before to the way they greet her,
"Levi spoke so highly of you Dr kartwell" Wanda said
"Please just call me Johanna, it's Christmas I'm sure you don't need to Dr me"
Wanda smile "Ok Johanna it's a pleasure" Wanda said
"Same here and your man is someone to reconded with himself" Johanna said turning to smile at Levi
"If you say so I won't try to deny" Levi said
Johanna giggle
"Please have a seat we'll have something to drink" Julia said right then the doorbell rang Celeste comes with Johanna's family,
Tony recognized Celeste and greeted her "Celeste, Celeste" he said with an open arms
"Tony! What a surprise" Celeste said as she and Tony share a hug
"It's so good to see you" Celeste said
"What has it been ten years?" Tony said
Celeste nod
"Ten long years man" Jan said
Celeste smile at him going over to hug him, "this is Terence my husband and this sweet boy is our son" Celeste said
Every one gathered to shake hand with them, "Nice to meet you Terence" Jan said
"Same here" Tony said
"The pleasure is all mine" Terence said
They exchanged smile,
The minute they enter the door jan felt nervous for one of the guy with them walked over to Johanna and she was holding the boy who was calling that same guy dad,
"Everyone this is my little family my dad Desmond my mom Patty that's my younger brother Jamie she happens to be his girlfriend her name is Wilma, she over there is Alley the boy next to her is Nick her son, this right here is Desroy another of her son, and Desi her husband and father of their two son's" Johanna said
Jan stood up right he almost felt his breathing started ad if gotten a jump start
"That's Tony" Johanna said started with the closes person to her his girlfriend Keisha, Lauren and Barry Mel, Dugaune and Amy Gary Levi and Wanda Mr and mrs Reeves
"Please call me julia" Julia said taking Patty's hand "Timothy" Timothy said as he shook hand with them,
"Thanks for inviting us over" Patty said
"Thanks for accepting our invitation" Julia said
Patty smile,
"That's jan" Johanna said
"Wow finally the great Jan Reeves" Desi said shaking Jan's hand
"Jan smile,
"You look so nice" Alley said
"Well thank you" Jan said
"Far different from that picture of the sixteen years old guy who is on those pictures at home" Alley said
"There are pictures of me at home when I'm sixteen?" Jan asked
"Yes lots of them seems you had a big fan" Alley said turning to smile at Johanna, Johanna look at her sister in law then to jan he was wondering how did pictures of him ended up at their home and what type of pictures were those,
"My sister in law had always been a fan of yours" Wilma said Johanna frown only to hear Celeste laughing
"See her best friend know in not lying" Wilma said
Jan smile
Johanna didn't say anything she didn't want to post the argument once she started denying or objecting the conversation will continue so she just nicely let it slip by the door bell went and because she was standing closer she went to get it,
Quickly Johanna recognize kendra from the beach the other day who was standing with five other people by the door, one of who was Gloria Jan's woman Johanna almost fainted for she wasn't expecting that she would come she felt a sharp pain like a knife blade stab through her, Henry who was at the party last night a older woman Cathy Kendra's mom, Delly Kendra's father and Opal Kendra's grandmother her mother's mother,
They greet each other, "Wow Jan" Gloria said Jan was surprised she was here but act to didn't care he was hoping that she didn't turn up because last night he was talking to her at the party he haven't said it but he was sure that there was no relationship for him and Gloria more so now he like what he has with Johanna she let him feel wanted and his heart gave a different beat when ever he's around her it beats with a far sweeter rydim,
"Wow elf hats" Gloria said ad she noticed the hats put out on a small table Johanna had put them for each person who came to get one, but with the excitement she forgot,
"Wow I can gave one too?" Kendra asked when Gloria went and took one,
"Are there enough?" Keisha asked taking for her and Tony,
"I'm sure they're more than enough" Julia said
She turn to Johanna "it seems you forgot to hand out the hats" she said
Johanna shrugged Julia rubbed her shoulder and gave a smile ,
"Let me have for the children each" Lauren said taking them up so each child could have one,
"Desroy grinned ad he held on to his, jan smile and touch his head he grinned up at jan, they were excitingly getting their hats
when the doorbell went,
"That's my family now" Lauren said going to get the door but it was Otis Delan two guys who were high school mate with Tony and jan they came with their girlfriends kity and Reese, Jannnnnn! my man! Otis said
Celeste and Johanna widen eyes at each other,
Jan giggle as they step in to embrace each other he and Delan hug as well and they introduce the ladies to them,
"You're Celeste right?" Otis asked
Celeste nod
"I thought I remember you and of course miss kartwell who would forget you" he said facing Johanna
"Hi" Johanna said
Delan smile he nod "pretty little miss Johanna" he said
Johanna smirk
"You guys went to high school?" Kendra asked
"Yes we all did he point to Otis, Tony, Celeste, Jan and Johanna
Gloria and Kendra look at Johanna then to jan
"So you attend cristo rey high school?" Gloria directed the message to Johanna,
Johanna nod
"She's your school mate so didn't they say you came up from Toronto?" Gloria asked Johanna
Keisha and Lauren turned their eyes when she spoke
"We're all school mate" Otis said
"I never know you and jan know each other before you came to be his therapist" kendra said
"He said we were all school mates didn't hear him mention jan knowing me or I know jan" Johanna said
"But if you attend the same school it's obvious you know each other" Gloria said
"Did you know everyone who attended high school with you in a higher grade?" Johanna asked
"Not really" kendra said
Johanna shrugged
"Please someone serve those drinks Johanna has put to chill they must be pretty cold by this" Julia said
"I'll get drinks help me Keisha" Lauren said taking Keisha' s
"Wait a minute did she say you're Jan's therapist?" Delan asked
He and Otis look surprised at each other,
"I am" Johanna said
"Really now?" Delan asked
"Was it a coincidence?" Otis asked
"No, no coincidence I was put on a job you never know who you'll work with in further" Johanna said
"That's true, but it has to be you ended up being Jan's therapist or it is a miracle" Delan said
"What ever" Johanna said
The doorbell went and this time it was Lauren's parents and her sister Zowey who came to the door, another set of greetings and this time they got settled
Finally Lauren and Keisha went for the drinks Barry and Tony went to assist unaware that Gary and Mel were behind them,
"Who invited Gloria?" Mel asked soon as the kitchen door closed behind then
"I'm as surprised as you" Keisha said
"I think it was jan" Lauren said
"I'm surprise to see Gloria here believe me" Mel said hissing "could he even invite her" she asked
"Last night just as she's on his shoulder now it was how she was in his ear they spent a long time talking,
"Last night?" Mel asked
"Johanna took him, took us to a party in villa Square and we ran into them"
Mel frown
Gary was surprised he didn't believe that han would still be holding such a conversation with Gloria
"I'm thinking if would after we got home he asked me to take down a picture he had on his screen, and since he's his getting it on with Johanna I'm sure he wasn't going to let her come"
"Ah" tony laugh "say what jan is digging Johanna way to go Jan" he said
Celeste walk in the kitchen since Julia had send to check on what was taking the drinks so long, she pause on hearing what Tony had said looking surprised she had told Johanna she should but she haven't heard Johanna mention if she was but it seems she was,
"They're kissing and hugging it doesn't seem hes hiding it and most of the day today they were locked away" Barry said
"He's been crazy for her since high school" Tony said
"Jan?" Celeste asked
Tony nod
"White lie" Celeste said
"He was" Garry said "he told me since he saw Johanna but said he was afraid to speak to her"
"She has always been crazy about him and it was why she was willing to leave the agency to come for she believed that she could help him"
"Leave the agency?" Keisha, Tony, Gary, Mel Lauren and Barry asked all surprised
"They believe that Jan's situation were too serious and he wasn't going to be able to walk they wanted to give her just a limited amount of time before pulling her back but she didn't want to leave him with out the job was complete so she decided to quit the agency so she would have more time to help him" Celeste said
"They wouldn't send her?" Lauren asked
"They said that they needed the best therapist in the agency and she was the best they got so they disgust it in a meeting and she walked away" Celeste said
"She came pretending she didn't know who she was here to work with she act as if she didn't know jan" Gary said
"That's because Jan didn't look at her in high school" Celeste said
"You should have seen how nervous she made him back then he was so in love with her but he didn't want me to say anything he kept saying "don't tell your girlfriend" Tony laugh
"That was what she said don't tell your boyfriend" Celeste laugh
"I'm sure this isn't no coincidence" Keisha said
Tony agreed if it is love then they found each other again and if it's to work out they sure will be together they were going to have to wait to see and let nature take its course.
