* Valerie's pov *
It's my birthday today. The scariest day of the year. I gotta be forced to eat cake. I've gotten away with it for a while cause my parents never cared enough to celebrate my birthday. They stopped celebrating it when Leno moved out. If it fell on a a day he would be around they would celebrate it but that was rare. So I haven't gotten actual gifts in a while.
But I've always hated the cake part. I walk down stairs cause Rafes not in the bed with me. I look around and see Leno on the couch watching tv. I walk next to the couch. "Hey Leno." He looks at me quickly and looks back at the tv. "Hey kiddo..happy birthday." I look at him with sadness. "Thanks.." I look to see if he's outside. "Leno! Do you know where Rafe is?" He looks over at me. "Probably with Wheezie or Sarah or Top?" I nod my head slowly.
He's all I want for my birthday. I just wanna lay in bed with my boyfriend on my birthday. I frown and grab my phone to text the pogue group chat.
"Hey guys wanna hang out? Rafes busy." It takes a minute and John B answers.
"Sorry Val we are going to the main land." I nod my head sadly. I respond okay and say have fun and shut my phone off. I walk to my room and sleep. I don't even wanna celebrate no one probably even knows it's my birthday either way except Leno for obvious reasons.
* Rafes pov*
I look at Val sleeping in the bed and slowly pull myself off her and walk to Leno's room. I walk in and he looks at me. "Is Valerie okay?" I nod my head. "She's sleeping I wanted to ask you something." He nods his head. "So I know it's her birthday today. I need you to act like you don't care." He stares at me. "I can't do that." I roll my eyes. "Just do it. And if she asks where I am. Tell her you don't know. I'm setting up a surprise party for her. Okay." He rolls his eyes. "Fine but if she hates me after this it's all your fault." I nod my head. "I'll take it."
I walk out and drive in my car to the château. I knock on the door and John B answers the door. He stares at me and goes to shut the door. I hold it and pull it open. "It's for Val. Help me since I'm keeping Ward away from Sarah." He rolls his eyes but moves out the way to let me in. I sit on the dirty couch. They really need to clean this place.
John B looks at me. "So what do you need help with for Val?" I nod my head. "It's her birthday." He pulls out his phone and I take it throwing it behind me. "No! You have to act like you don't know. I'm doing a surprise party. Even tho the only people she really considers friends is me and her brother...she's working on you guys. There's not gonna be much people. So I still want it to be surprise." John B nods his head. "So where do you want it Cameron?" I point at him. "Country club." He deadpan stares at me.
"You do realize we can't get in there right?" I look at him. "That's why you guys are gonna set up with me and work the party but your not actually gonna work." He rolls his eyes. "Still stupid." I roll my eyes at him. "I tell them I hired you guys since Jj used to work there and have you guys act like your working." Sarah walks in the room and looks at me but ignores me.
