On this island there's two people. Kooks and pouges. Kooks are the rich people of the town and pouges are the poor people. I'm apart of the kook side but I don't act much of a kook. I've never cared for that part of my life.
My brother Leno is very much apart of that group. I stay to myself mostly. Leno is the more focused child. I'm only there for when my parents needs someone to hit on. They never really cared about me.
Leno is moved out but he comes to the house a lot to tell my parents how good he's doing.
I struggle with anxiety, depression and eating disorders. But no one notices it so I ignore it all also. I don't have friends cause I don't bother with it.
I'm laying in my bed trying to sleep. The door opens and my dad comes in. "Leno is coming. So get ready now." He walks up to me grabbing my hair pulling me on the floor making me stare at him scared with my hair in my face. He sees I don't have a reaction and punches me in the face. I nod my head getting up and throwing on my big clothes.
I walk downstairs and sit at the table waiting for Leno to come home. The front door opens and he walks in smiling. "I'm home!" My parents go rushing to him and hugging him. I take him coming home to leave. Cause as long as he's home they aren't gonna notice I'm gone.
I walk to the wreck so I can just sit here for a few hours and not be around my parents. I sit in a seat and the owner's daughter Kiara walks up to me. "Any you want today?" I look up at her shaking my head giving her a tight smile. She nods her head and walks away.
I hold my face lightly. Someone sits in front of me and I look up seeing Kiaras friend Jj Maybank. I stare at him through my lashes still holding my face. He smiles at me. "We are throwing a party at the bonyard? If you you wanna come since I know you probably don't go out a lot it would be nice to see you there..." I give him the same smile I gave Kiara. "...sure..." He smiles big. "I'll be waiting for you."
I nod my head and he walks away. I state at the table not knowing what's going on. No one has showed interest in me before. They probably know Leno is here so they want to get to him by getting to me. That's what it is Val.

I get dressed in a kind loose black dress and brush my hair out and put light make up on not really trying.
I get to the party and see Jj. He looks up at me and smiles. "Hey how are you?" I shrug. "Fine." He nods his head. "Hey...what's your name I never got it..." I stare at him in shock. I've known him for the longest. But he doesn't know my name. "Val.." He smiles wide and nods his head. "That's pretty."
I nod my head and step back to walk away. I walk along the beach side. I get to a little cave and walk towards it. There's little groans coming from inside it. Weird. I walk more.
"H-hello..." I answer out someone walks out. "Valerie what are you doing here!?" Rafe Cameron says. Rafe is one of Leno's friends. I look at him and my eyes go down to his arm. It's bleeding...did he hurt someone? I look at his eyes and he moves his arm behind his back.
"Valerie don't you have somewhere to be?" I shake my head. "N-no is Leno y-you know h—here?" He shakes his head. "Nah your parents have him for the night." I nod my head. "Good." He looks at me. "You've gotten thinner?" I look up at him and smile. "You know...just a diet..." He frowns but nods his head. "See you around Val.." I wave to him and he walks away.
What is going on with Rafe...who's blood was on his arm....what is he hiding...
