Behind a crumbled wall, four students huddled together. Every once in a while, they would peek over it to see the fight going on between All Might and the villain.
They had felt relief when the heroes showed up and that the other location had also been surrounded by heroes. Though, that had been short-lived, and it just went downhill from there. Now, the four of them peeked over the wall to see Guardian grab onto Bakugou, and with his quark and the help of a pressure wave, they were up in the air. The two flew over the fight happening below, the blue fire blocking the other villains' attempt to recapture the two.
"Let's go," Todoroki said, as he kept his eyes on the two to see where they were going.
It wasn't very far before Guardian's wings gave out, forcing Bakugou to use his explosions to soften their landing. It mostly helped.
The two landed on the deserted road about a block or two away from the fighting. Guardian let go of the ash blonde before stumbling to a stop himself.
Behind them, the four students ran up to them. Todoroki and Iida ran up to Guardian while Kirishima and Yaoyorozo stayed next to Bakugou. Bakugou recovered first from the crazy flight.
"What the hell, why are you extras here?" He yelled. He stared at all four of them in turn, seeing their sheepish looks. Except Todoroki, whose face had only a brief change when he went up to Guardian.
"Well, we...uh...came to get you," Kirishima said, scratching the back of his head.
Bakugou didn't respond, only gave the red head a deep scowl. He turned back towards Guardian, who was hunched over, trying to catch his breath. Both Todoroki and Iida were on either side of the winged kid, concerned over how bad he looked.
The wing had healed, but many of the cuts and bruising that could be seen were still fresh looking. There were also a few spots where feathers had yet to grow back, though they weren't as raw.
"Nerd, do you think you can walk, or should one of us carry you? We need to get as far away as possible since there is no guarantee how far the destruction is going to go with that fight back there," Bakugou said. He walked to stand next to Guardian, seeing just how worn out he was.
"I can walk," Guardian started, "but I won't be able to fly for a while since that quick flight took everything that I probably didn't have."
"Then it's a good thing there are people here to support you," Iida said.
"Yes, so let us start walking. I'm sure the evacuation is still ongoing, and there are areas that have been deemed safe. Once we know we're safe, we can make a plan on what to do next then," Yaoyorozo added.
Soon, they were surrounded by evacuated people, all stuck since the trains were down. Most were huddled in groups talking, others were getting their injuries looked at. The six kids stayed together as they found a place to stop. Seeing someone passing out blankets, both Bakugou and Todoroki left to grab one. When they came back, they not only had a blanket each, but also a few bottles of water.
The bottles got passed to those who needed them, and the blankets both got handed to Guardian. Both Todoroki and Bakugou looked at each other, with Bakugou rolling his eyes at the other, who remained mostly emotionless.
"Um, thank you," Guardian said, taking both of the blankets. He gave one to Yaoyorozo and kept the other one.
"Okay, nerd, start talk-" Bakugou started, but behind him on the screen, a live video coverage of the fight had been turned back on, and people all around them cried out.
Everyone turned to the screen to see All Might still fighting All For One. The other villains had already disappeared, and the other heroes that had been there were going around the ruble trying to find anyone who was still trapped. One hero, though, was trying to help All Might, but all that could really be seen on screen was a yellow blur.
