To say that being stuck in the hospital room was a drag would be an understatement. It was better than where he had started off at, but only marginally.

Since he woke up, it had now been three days staying in the hospital. The nurses were only allowed in under supervision of a guard and no doctors were allowed near his room at all. The highlight of his current situation was that the woman he now remembers as his mother, has visited him every day.

The pieces of memories of him growing up have started to align. Yet, his visits with her still involve a lot of questions and story telling on her part. Even the embarrassing ones.

Talking with his mom also seemed to help with questions he had about himself, not just his memory issues. Like why he always wanted katsudon all the time or why he had to have a notebook and pencil with him. It was mostly small things that made him wonder what kind of person he was. Or at least who he was before. A part of him still felt foreign.

On the fourth day, he got a surprise. The good kind.

It was just after another quick check up by a nurse when the homeless looking hero walked in. Eraserhead was his name, if he remembers correctly.

"How are you feeling today?" Eraserhead asked. He sits down in the chair his mom usually sits in next to the bed, looking just as tired as he did before.

"Okay, I guess," He answers honestly.

Eraserhead just looks at him, his tired features not even twitching. "Well, how about some guests to help alleviate the annoyance of being here?"

Guardian looked at the hero puzzled at who could be visiting that would need the hero to come in first. Then two more people opened the door and stepped into the room. The one guy was tall dressed in stylish jeans, red shirt, and a very nice black jacket that allowed his red wings to stand out. The other guy was a bit taller, his clothes dirty and mostly black. Nothing though could cover all of his purple scars, the staples, and the many piercings he had.

"Dabi! Hawks!" Guardian yelled.

Before anyone could say anything, the kid was up and leaping out of the bed to crash into Dabi. Who nearly fell backwards and only stairs standing thanks to Hawks using a wing to keep them from falling.

"What's going on? Are you okay? Why are you with Hawks? Why were you with the League?" Guardian rambled off.

"Slow down, kid," Eraserhead said, still by the bed. "And get back in bed. You might be healed up, but you are still underweight. I'm surprised you have enough energy to jump around at all."

Guardian looked a bit sheepish as he spoke. "I'm eating as much as I can." Getting back into the hospital bed, he sits facing towards Eraserhead so his wings hang off the other side. Both Hawks and Dabi pulled up chairs to sit next to the tired hero.

"Well, hospital food isn't known for its taste," Eraserhead said. "Now, before we get to your questions, I need to ask a couple myself."

Guardian looked between the three men sitting in front of him and nodded. He could wait for his own answers. It's not like he could go anywhere.

"Now, it's obvious you know Dabi here, but can you clarify your relationship? You've already mentioned talking to Hawks previously, so we can discuss that after. Depending on how everything goes, we can move forward." Eraserhead continued.

Guardian looked to Dabi again, who nodded that it was okay. For the next ten minutes, Guardian spilled how he first met Dabi on the roof while he was watching the sports festival and everything afterwards. The one thing he didn't reveal was who Dabi actually was. That was not his story to tell.
