Licensing Exam Part 2
* * * * *
Aizawa had watched from the stands, ignoring Ms. Jokes' attempts to get him to laugh, and was pleased to see all of his first year students pass the first round. This included Midoriya who had the least amount of training since he wasn't technically his student. Not yet, anyway.
Now he watched the arena crumble below with perfectly placed explosions. The new scene was eerily familiar. His frown deepened as he thought about how this second half was going to go. As an addition, volunteers from the Help Us Company were scattered among the wreckage playing the part as civilians to be rescued.
Other than his class and, from what he saw, the single student from Shiketsu, the majority of the examinees were either second or third years, so this next part of the exam was going to be harder for his students. His class had yet to have much experience in rescue beyond the introduction and basics.
'Oh well,' he thought to himself. He already knew this would be the harder part, but he also knew that his class would figure everything out.
Down below he noticed a group of his students running towards the demolished city zone. This alone isn't what caught his attention since he expected them to stay in small groups.
No, what was a surprise is that both Bakugou and Midoriya were together in this group.
If it wasn't for his scarf, everyone would see his jaw drop followed by a small smile.
With the two were Kaminari and Kirishima who trailed behind Bakugou while Midoriya flew above them. Soon the four of them stopped, presumably finding one of the volunteer victims.
Down below, the four had in fact stopped as they heard someone yelling out. To their luck it came from the ruined building somewhere on one of the higher partially intact floors.
Midoriya flew up, checking the open windows for the person that had yelled out. It was looking into the fourth window several floors up that he found a woman on the floor with a large piece of wall pinning her leg.
Slowly, Midoriya squeezed through the window, thankfully there was no glass poking out, and stepped into the room. As he walked towards the woman on the ground he watched the remaining walls and the floor for any cracks or movement. So far nothing looked like it was going to collapse further.
Speaking with the woman, he made sure she didn't have any other major injuries other than her leg being pinned and the minor cuts that he could see. She confirmed it was just her leg, which was most likely broken.
Knowing he wouldn't be able to lift the wall up and that he would need something for her leg, he told her he was going to bring others up to help as well as get a splint for her and for her to move as little as possible.
Back outside and on the ground he told the others what the situation was like. Kaminari was the one to bring up seeing a piece of cloth back some ways and ran to grab it as well as any thin pieces of wood. In the meantime, Bakugou blasted himself up to the same window from before and entered the room. He took in the situation and was already figuring out how to get the wall off the lady.
"A little help here," Midoriya said from the window.
Bakugou turned around to see Midoriya hovering outside the window while holding onto Kirishima under his arms. He raised a brow as he watched the greenett struggle to keep enough height with Kirishima's added bulk so he kept dropping below the window.
"Hoover closer to the window. Red put your feet on the ledge here as you pull yourself in," He said as he stepped closer.
As they were told, Midoriya flew closer which allowed Kirishima to put his feet on the window ledge and then grabbed the sides to pull himself the rest of the way in. Bakugou patted Kirishima's shoulder as he stepped in and told him to make sure the woman was still okay.
