A/N) Sorry this might be a bit boring. Some Twazii I just couldn't resist.
"Ah, Natquik! How good to have you aboard the Octopod again!" cried the Professor as Kwazii returned in the Gup A with their guest.
"Same, same Professor!" Natquik, ever the scout, sniffed the air. "And is that... fresh fish biscuits I smell?"
Tunip and the Vegimals tumbled from the Octochute, tripping over each other and sending a tray of biscuits high into the air.
"YEOWWW!" shouted Kwazii as he flipped through the air and grabbed the biscuits.
Shellington walked in.
"Mm, fish biscuits. Although uncharacteristic of you to only bake one batch, Tunip," he winked.
Tunip chittered something, jumped into the Octochute and returned three seconds later with four more trays precariously balanced. Shellington chuckled. "Thank you Tunip. Can I take some to my room?"
"Ah, actually, my dear Shellington, I was wondering if you could accompany Natquik and I to the library."
"Sure thing, Professor," nodded Shellington. "What are you planning on doing in the library?"
A dramatic pause.
"Cards."
Another pause, as Shellington tried to understand why cards were so dramatic. He shrugged. Maybe it was something that both Professors used to do together when they were younger.
"Ok, sure. Let's go."

The group of players grew as they walked to the library; the Vegimals had followed them out of the launch bay and the girls had met them as they came out of Dashi's room.
"Watcha doing?" Dashi asked, joining her boyfriend towards the back of the group.
"Ah, the Professors want to play cards," Shellington explained. Dashi giggled at the way he grouped them as 'the Professors.' "I think it must be some tradition."
"Probably," agreed Dashi. "The two of them go way back. Well, this should be fun."
By the time the two of them entered the library, the entire crew was there. It seemed that they had picked up a few more players.
"You lovebirds finished yet?" Kwazii asked in a nonchalant tone, earning himself a dark look from the Captain.
"We were only talking!" protested Dashi.
"Yeah right. Just talking. Everyone knows you two could talk for hours."
"Hey! Just coz we're..."
"Stop teasing Kwazii. Let's just play cards. We have too many players so we can split up into three groups. Professor, do you have another two packs?"
"Of course, Captain. Here you are."
"Thank you Professor. Let's sort the groups. I would assume that our two lovebirds in residence want to be together on this, right?"
"Who's calling them lovebirds now?" Kwazii smirked vindictively.
"Wasn't asking you, Kwazii, I was asking them," responded the Captain, quite cleverly dodging the question.
"Shel?" Dashi's voice had real emotion in it and as Shellington turned to reply... was that... jealousy on Kwazii's face?
