A/N) Sorta scattered. Given that Dashi's a dog and dogs need regular vaccines, I thought I'd make Dashi scared of needles and I wanted her annual vax a tradition. Basically, each year, the Octonauts visit Dashi's home in Sydney for her jab. Hope you enjoy!
The Captain addressed the Octonauts as they gathered in the HQ, wondering what was happening. And why Dashi and the Captain looked somewhat... uncomfortable.
"Well, for those of you without a calendar," the Captain nodded. "Tomorrow we'll dock for our annual visit to Sydney."
Everyone nodded. Most of them had calendars, and the ones who didn't asked someone else. So why was the Captain telling them? And what was all the anxiety in the room about?
"Right. And, uh, this year we have a special guest... Paani!" Captain Barnacles attempted to paint what was to come in a positive light. Paani was great, and one of the bravest Octoagents, but he hadn't grown up with much social contact and his etiquette was... interesting. Everyone pulled faces and laughed.
"It'll be nice for you to see your family, won't it?" Peso asked Dashi.
"Yeah! Koshi and I are going to have a sleepover..."
"What's on your mind, matey?" Kwazii said, tilting his head at Dashi. Shellington shot him a look, as Dashi was preoccupied with looking at the floor. Kwazii, of course, didn't get the memo. "You look more troubled than a piece of kelp in a pirate stew!"
"Anyways Kwazii, what are you planning to do in Sydney?" Shellington swept in, huge fake grin plastered on his face.
"But she-"
"Going to Luna Park?"
"I-"
"Going to Taronga?"
"What's Taronga?"
"The zoo there," Shellington nodded. Of course Shellington would know all the different zoos around the world.
"Well... Yeah, I suppose..."
"Great," said the Captain, understanding what Shellington was getting at. "We can make an itinerary in the afternoon."

Shellington followed Kwazii to his room.
"What? Why are you following me to my- Ohhhh it's about that thing in HQ, isn't it? Look, why won't you get over that? What did I even do?"
"I'm pretty sure everyone on the ship knows this, well except for the Vegimals maybe, but I need you to understand and act accordingly."
"Well yes, but what are we talking about?"
"It's important you understand this and respect her wishes."
"What's this? Whose wishes?"
"No teasing, no mentioning, no nothing."
"For the last time Shellington," exploded Kwazii. "What in the seven seas are you talking about?"
"Dashi. She's got trypanophobia."
"She's got peas in the freezer?"
"She's got- wait, that didn't sound anything like what I said."
"Doesn't matter. What does she have?"
"Trypanophobia. A fear of needles. She needs Tweak, the Captain, her family and I in the room before even looking at a needle. Even if you bring it up in conversation, she feels sick. And every year the doctors in Sydney need to give her a shot. Because she's a dog. They've made it as easy as possible and mixed up all the vaccines so it's just one needle, but still."
