The NATO Summit is being held in Wilhelmstadt, Germany formerly Kaliningrad, Russia. All 34 members of NATO, including the USA, Sweden, Germany, Ukraine and Georgia attended. Wilhelm had opposed the city being named after him, but the members of the Bundestag had voted it anyway. The new Countries of West Russia and East China also attended. The secretary general of NATO was former President Stevenson of the United States, he said "we will now discuss solutions to the African Crisis". Wilhelm began to speak "Fellow NATO nations, we must focus on Biafra before we focus on the Cabo Verde Rebels. The Socialist Republic of Biafra is almost the new Version of North Korea, with a strong leader Ao Ao with a cult of personality and being dependent on another power and completely isolated from the world. We must destroy this state and its totalitarian regime! I propose sending 200,000 troops to Nigeria to aid the government in the war. We should also begin a total blockade of Biafra...Nothing Comes in or Out! Remember that Biafra is a new state so it has no national identity yet, we shall capitalize on this and remove the support of the people from the Regime! Africa is the battle ground of this new Cold War, a silk curtain has descended but we must control where it lands! For Freedom!"

August sees the news after meeting with Wilhelm at the NATO summit. The headline is "Bernadotte: A Silk Curtain has descended" and others like "Chancellor of Germany highlights the importance of Africa". Alex Garner comes up to him after the summit and say "Hello August", "Hi Alex" he responds and Wilhelm comes over. Wilhelm says to them, "Hi August, Hi Alex. Did you like my speech?" August was always jealous of Wilhelm's newfound speaking ability since Wille became a politician, but he did genuinely agree with it so he said "It was good, but I think I could have done it better". "That's nice coming from you, August" said Wilhelm. Alex said "That's where you are wrong August, nobody could have done it better", and August huffed knowing that what Garner said is true.
