Meeting Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome

          Since the day when I nearly got lost, almost killed, and showed Soren my boxing skills, I decided on telling the girls about the whole mob thing. I barely got any sleep thinking about what will happen in the morning. I got up from my little piece of heaven I call my bed and brushed my teeth.

          Ms.Rayne had told me that we had to meet a rival mob boss on a potential treaty. No one knows his name or what he even looks like but from what Ms.Rayne heard, he’s the devil incarnate and he is supposedly a woman’s dream man.

          I quickly showered and combed my dark hair into a high ponytail. I pulled on a pair of light denim jeans, paired it with a striped muscle shirt and a pair of white converse shoes.

          I walked to the kitchen nervously. Kat and Ally were arguing about college basketball, something they seem to be doing a lot lately. I took a seat next to Kat on the granite kitchen nook.

          “Girls, I have something important to tell you.”

          Their argument faded and they turned to me with curious eyes. I swallowed the lump that slowly formed.

          “It’s a funny story actually, well I think it is. You see a couple of weeks ago Ms.Rayne had oh-so graciously informed me that our lovely parents had been running a mob. Turns out that this mob is the reason our dear mother was… Shot. They wrote in their wills who will be taking on the task of running a mob. Turns out, they picked me. I need you guys to help me. Help me run our mob.” I felt like I watched their faces for hours until Kat sighed loudly.

          “I guess. I mean we have no choice really. We already know and we have people depending on us. All of the crew we must have, all the people working for us depend on us.” She took a sip out of her coffee.

          “We could use this as a chance to help people too. We came from nothing and we need to help people with nothing.” Ally shrugged.

          I smiled at them and told them about the whole meeting we need to attend later on.

          Nobody knew that I was the new leader. I had asked Ms.Rayne not to give that information out; nobody knows me or even knows that it is a girl who has hold of the reigns now.

          I got ready for the meeting along with my sisters. I kept my hair in the ponytail and decided to wear a mix of casual and formal attire. I put on a plain eggshell colored shirt tucked into a black faux leather skirt that wasn’t skintight with matching leather ankle boots with a heel.

          Ally wore a white maxi dress that had a collar embellished with pearls and small silver beads and she matched it with knee length gladiator shoes.

          Kat on the other hand decided she wanted to look badass. She put on a black muscle shirt with a giant white skull and bones on the front. She put on dark denim jeans tucked into leather boots. On top of the muscle shirt, she put a black leather jacket.

          We ate the rest of our breakfast and joked around a bit about the mysterious man we have to meet. We grabbed our bags and walked out towards Kat’s car. We got into the shiny black car and made our way to a warehouse about 30 minutes away.

          “So what are we expecting once we get over there Lucy?” Kat glanced away from the road to look at me.

          “We won’t be introduced as the mob bosses. They will just think of us as new recruits. Be on the lookout for any of those men grabbing you inappropriately, don’t hesitate on hitting them.” I talked them through things and told them the basic things they needed to know about the Dragon Clan.
