Alex is being escorted to the hospital by a car that Bea arranged for him on the short notice.

"Alex.." Henry whispers... "You are here.."

7 years it had been 7 years since Alex had seen Henry in person... He didn't want to say anything he just wanted to absorb the fact that the man he thought he would never be able to meet again was laying down in front of him back from the brink of death... as if this was the universe's conspiracy to give him a chance to be with his fated one.

"Baby.." Alex slowly wraps his arms around Henry...

"I have been wanting to see your face since I woke up.."
"I wish I could have been by your side.." 'for the last 7 years' words are left unspoken.

"I just feel bad that I don't remember the special moments we built in the past seven years."

Alex desperate to change the topic.. asks about the royal family ... trying to ignore the fact that there were no special memories built in the past seven years "Is no one here ...??"

"Yes Bea made sure you flew in when no one was around..."

Alex stands their awkwardly he doesn't know what to say. Henry was a quite person generally but with him Henry used to talk a lot he loved to babble about his day, about what he read today Alex loved hearing all of that. Now Henry had nothing but questions and Alex didn't know how to answer them all he knew about Henry's life was from the tabloids. He knew all the dating speculations were just rumors but he didn't know if Henry met someone on one of his trips special enough or someone working with his new shelters to make a small place in heart or probably make it entirely his, leaving no space for Alex to reside in.

Alex had tried dating both girls and boys since he had his bi-awakening but none of them seem to interest Alex like Henry did. Alex always wanted to make time for Henry at the end of the day even if it was a video call during which he feel asleep but with his later dating partners, making time for them seemed like a burden to Alex. All Alex wanted to do was work. Sex wasn't that good neither with his dates nor with his one night stands, they were good for occasional get-offs but it lacked the intimacy Henry offered. After sex conversations for which Alex could wake up the entire night or maybe not due to lack of energy because satisfying his man demanded a lot of energy in both ways now didn't seem to interest him.

Henry waits in silence for Alex to speak something but when all he is met with is silence he decides to take the job in his own hands. He is not able to decipher what is the reason for Alex's quietness. There seems to be an unreadable tension between him and Alex for which he can't pinpoint the reason.

"Alex can you update me about my life..??"

"Henry the doctor has asked you to rest and not try to recall the past. I know if you are told about the last 7 years you will try to figure out what happened. We will fill you in when we get the signal from the doctor." Alex quickly makes up a lie because his profession had made him capable to do so even in front of the man who had seen him with his guard down.

Henry takes a big sigh, Alex seemed too formal to him.. even when they were sort of archnemesis the distance that was existing right now didn't exist. Henry wanted to feel Alex close to him but he seemed distant.

Was Alex regretting being with Henry because Henry didn't remember how their lives were or something had changed in the past seven years that Henry was unaware about. Maybe Henry got overbearing and Alex could no longer handle him. The random bouts of sadness Henry used to get which Alex usually shared with him on calls started to irritate him. Breathing the same space as Henry wasn't tolerable for Alex anymore and Alex was here performing boyfriend duties just because Henry didn't remember the last 7 years of his life. Maybe Alex had already broken up with Henry and - . No this is not what Henry is supposed to be thinking they would have gotten permanent not broken up when things got rough. Living without Alex will be the hardest part of his life.
