Epilogue

Henry wakes up caged in Alex's arms. These are the days he had dreamed of, waking up next to his lover, in his arms.

"Good morning baby." Alex speaks in a sleepy voice.

Henry on the other hand became founder of Percy Okonjo foundations in America. They started with elderly homes, orphanages, lgbtq+ shelters and continued so on. Henry would manage both home and his flexible professional life.

Alex comes back late from office because he has a day off tomorrow.

"How was your day ?" Henry hands over a glass of water to Alex sits next to him. Alex narrated the details of the case that shook him leaving out the names because that would come under NDA.

"Let's go to bed now." Alex stands up after he finished his narration of the story.

"Dinner?"

"Not hungry. Are you ?"

"I am, so we are having dinner no matter what. I don't survive on coffee like you." Henry stands up to leave and Alex follows him.

"I was going to ask you on the bed but since we are having dinner it is your turn to tell me about your day." Henry explains the new deadlines he set, the work he received, about the new kid that came into the foundation.

Alex is washing dishes as Henry clears the kitchen.

"You applied for the leave for tomorrow Alex ?"

"Yes baby."

"We need to wake up on time."

"Make sure to set an alarm."

The alarm blares through Alex's ears as he wakes up to find Henry missing.

"Good morning hubby, breakfast in bed." Alex finds Henry standing with a tray by the bed side.

Alex smiles as Henry grabs space besides him. Alex lips meet Henry's for a slow kiss.

"Happy Anniversary love." Alex whispers.

"Happy Anniversary hubby." Henry gives a peck on his cheek.

They are flying to Britain today to meet Bea and Vir. This will be their first visit there after Bea gave birth to twins.

They have quickie followed by a speed shower before leaving for the airport. They could no longer afford to fly private, even first class was a little out of budget for them.
