Henry as promised flies to America as soon as possible. He made up different excuses of flying to America in his head but none of them seemed right. He booked the flight under personal reasons without giving anyone any explanation.

"I decided to make an excuse for attending events that include you so we don't have to meet. Then I got to know that you are not attending and have moved somewhere away from Washington for your studies. I went to public events and acted like nothing happened but the truth was I wanted you to be there. I opened these shelters in hopes that someone might have a better life than me. I wanted to provide safety and security of coming out to people which I never had."

"Did you at some point believe that if the royal funds get invested for lgbtq+ they might become supportive and actually change ?"

"Yes." Henry sighs. "Yes, I believed that at least some of their notions along with people notions will change when I gather the courage to come out. I hoped that some of them will stand in favour of me instead."

"Did change happen?"

"In the royal family.." Henry scoffs. "Not at all but in people yes. More people started coming out. You remember I showed you how my dms were full of women wanting to marry me? How I was the man of their dreams ?"

"Of course I do."

"People started thanking me for those shelters and how me opening them has helped them in coming out to their family. Yes, there were hate messages too but the number of people thankful to me outweighed them. These messages always made me feel better. I made sure to hire only queer staff for these shelters after a point because some people acted like jerks to the kids. I clearly remember a teenager came to me crying because one of my staff members called him a faggot for joining the shelter and told him how he was a burden to the family."

"People can be too mean sometimes."

"They can be. My insomnia returned and I used to read the conversations between us. It was the only way I could put myself to sleep. Some days despite trying so hard sleep never met my eyes no matter how much my body craved for it."
