Chapter 9

After ng encounter namin ng hitad sa office ay hindi ko na muli siyang nakita pa. Everything was smooth sailing with Caleb. As the days pass, we grew closer more and more. I have secrets with me. Secrets that I want to forget.

Pero hindi. Hindi kalimot-limot ang mga nangyari sakin. Ayokong dumating sa point na malalaman pa yun ni Caleb sa iba.

So I decided to surpsie him with dinner. A special dinner dito sa condo ko. Pinalayas ko muna si Charity at ipinastay kay Kuya. Besides, they need to bond.

Nagsindi ako ng scented candles to make the evening more special and romantic. Baked some garlic chicken for dinner and salad for appetizer. Bumili din ako ng wine para pampalakas ng loob.

Finally, the knock on the door that I was waiting for came. Isang ngiti ang pinabungad ko sakanya. Siya naman ay isang matinding yakap ang halik.

"You look so gorgeous, baby." He whispered in my ear that sent thousands of bolts in my system.

I gave a light peck on his cheek. "Ditto."

He looked around at kitang kita ang mangha sa mga mata niya. "Gawa mo lahat ito?" He smiled. "Thank you, baby. Everything's perfect."

I smiled. Will everything still be perfect even after my revelations?

"Let's eat?" Tanong ko. "I cooked some chicken and prepared wine for you."

He grinned. "Perfect."

Nasa kalagitnaan kami ngayong ng pagkain namin. Kinakabahan ako. Ramdam na ramdam ko ang pag pantig ng puso ko. Bawat tibok palakas ng palakas.

"So, what's the occasion, love?" Tanong niya.

"I have secrets." I blurted out. Talking is really not my thing.

He casually just glanced up at me.
"And I don't want you to feel pressured in blurting them out." He smiled.

My heart melted. How can I deserve someone this great? "No, you deserve to hear them from me. Ayokong marinig mo pa sa iba."

He was silent, urging me to go on. Naglagay ako ng wine sa wine glass ko. Kailangan ko ng pampatapang. Bago pa ko magsalita ay uminom na ako.

"Remember college days?" Tanong ko and he nodded. "Martin Corpuz?"

He sighed. "Baby, kung paguusapan lang natin ang ex mo, please let's stop. Kasi nama--"

Hindi ko na siya pinatapos. "He died. Two years ako."

Nanlaki ang mga mata niya. Nanatili lang ang titig niya sakin.

"Hindi kami tanggap ni dad." I continued. "He was so against us that he threatened he'd bankrupt Corpuz's family business. Papahirapan daw niya. So I broke up with him and got engaged with the guy my dad wanted for me. Pero that time, I was already 2months pregnant. Nung malaman ni Martin na na-engage na ako, he came back for me and we eloped."

Pumikit ako. Ramdam ko pa rin ang sakit hanggang ngayon. Nandito pa rin sa puso ko. Pero the pain this time is different. It's relieving and I suddenly feel like this is goodbye. Goodbye to the past.

"Nalaman ni dad ang plano namin na magtanan. We were on our way to jersey that time. Nagmamaneho si Martin nang mahabol kami ng body guards ni dad. It was a wild goose chase." I chuckled bitterly. "It was raining that night. Madulas ang kalsada. We got into an accident." I paused as the tears streamed from my eyes. "I was in a coma for a month. Nang magising ako, wala na si Martin. Wala na rin ang baby namin."

I sniffed. Naramdaman ko ang kamay niya sakin na marahang pinisil.

"I was so devastated. Wala na ang mga nagpapaligaya sakin. I blame my dad for everything. I left our house in New York and moved back here. Hindi ko kaya."

Bigla siyang tumayo sa kinauupuan niya at lumuhod sa harap ko. Napayuko ako habang patuloy siya sa pagpunas ng mga luha ko.

"Thank you." He smiled. "For sharing your secret. For openning up to me."

Lalo akong naiyak. What did I ever do good to deserve this kind of happiness? Hindi ako nakapagsalita. Niyakap ko lang siya ng mahigpit.

"I am sos sorry for your loss." Hinagod niya ang likod ko. "Pero hayaan mong ako ang mag gamot ng mga sugat mo. Let me heal you and make you happy."

"I love you, Caleb." Yun lang ang tanging nasabi ko.

"And I love you more. So much more." He whispered and showered me soft kisses.

Our kissed ran deeper and deeper. We were hungry for each other. So much passion and love are screaming in between our kissed. Naramdaman kong umaakyat at bumababa ang mga palad niya sa aking likod habang ang kamay ko naman ay nakalock lamang sakanyang mukha. I heard myself moan softly.

Hindi ko alam kung paano, pero nakarating kami ng kwarto ko without breaking the kiss. He kissed me harder as he started removing my clothes. Kinakabahan ako. What if he won't be satisfied with my performance? Or what if he doesn't find me sexy enough?

That's when I realize that I am ready. Ready to give my whole body and soul to this wonderful man.

He broke our kiss and stared at me. His eyes full of lust and love. "Are you sure about this?"

I smiled. "I've never been more sure."

He kissed me harder. Pakiramdam ko hindi na ako makakahinga sa mga halik niya. He started to cup my breast and nibble on my right nipple. Nakakabaliw ang sensation na to.

He was very careful, gentle yet ravenous. Nang maramdaman niyang ready na ako, unti-unti siyang pumasok sakin.

Naramdaman ko ang sakit. Like I was still a virgin.

"Fuck, baby, you're so tight. So gorgeous."

Napaungol ako sa sakit at sarap. Fuck too, Caleb.

Dahan-dahang siyang gumalaw, careful not to hurt me too much. Pero unti-unti ring bumilis ito nang makasiguro siyang hindi na ako gaanong nasasaktan.

"Caleb.." I moaned his name which made him move quicker.

We are one now. Making love. This is so much more than sex.

"Baby.." He moaned at di nagtagal, we both found our release.
