A/N: So, picture above is Jayces little sister.

Jayce' POV
I rarely ever wake up expectant. But this morning, I did.
I woke up feeling actually alive. I smiled at my ceiling. I grabbed my phone beside me and checked the time.
5:43
I got off my bed and stood in front of the mirror on the wall. My hair was messed up. Putting it back in place would be pointless. I settled for messing it up even more by running my fingers through it before stepping into my closet.
Marcia's POV.
Do we all give our besties our spare room key, or is it just me?
Just me? OK.
I was sleeping soundly on my bed when the mattrass in front of me dipped down. I groaned, but then soon slid back into sleep.
Then I felt something on my nose. Come on universe, I just want SLEEP.
"Mom, I want to sleep..." I groaned.
"Marcia?" A soft voice called out. Definitely not mom. SHE would have just taken all my pillows and placed them by my feet.
"What? What do you NOT get by-SLEEP?"
"Honey, I know what sleep is. But since I didn't get enough of it, I decided my best friend wouldn't either. I also have to help you pick out a dress."
"Princess, get out of my room. And I can pick my own dress."
"Uh, no you cant. I am NOT letting you go on a date with a red hoodie and purple sweat pants."
"What date?"
I heard Princess laugh. I forced my eyes open and turned to look at her.
Her hair was done in a messy bun, a few stubborn strands fell down to her face. I would be lieing to say I wasn't shocked when I noticed she was without lip gloss. The drops of water on her neck made it obvious she just rinsed it because she slept with her chain.
"Princess, what date?"
"You know, the one with Vee cause he's down stairs."
SHIT! I sat up.
"Marcia, you need to keep your cool. In fact, he is not downstairs. We are gonna take your prep real slow."
"Is he actually taking me on a date?"
"Ummm.well, just not in a restaurant."
I groaned and fell back unto the bed.
"You know, I could make it a date." She said.
"Don't. You. Dare."
"OK. Now get your ass off that bed and get to the bath"
"No." I said stubbornly.
"Marcia! He asked of you!"
"Really?!"
"Yes."
"What did you say?"
"You were doing chemistry homework."
I sighed in relief.
"I love you."
I rushed to pick my clothes, then entered the bathroom.
********
Princess scrutinized the purple crop top and black leather jeans I wore.
