A/N: Dear readers. Hi. I'm so happy to be back. Finally got the MODEM.

So we are back with The Sapphire and Ruby. Also, I encourage you to check out Queen of the beasts and The side of me they want. Enjoy!

Marcia's POV

My cousin, Jacob came to visit me in the hospital. When he walked in, I smiled at him.

"So, I was very casually hanging out with a friend just to receive a call, my favorite cousin was in an accident, and I be like (gasp) is she dead?!"

I laughed. Jacob knew how to make the funniest out of every situation.

Then someone came in after him. I saw his messy bangy blond hair. He looked down at his phone.

"So how are you?" Jacob asked.

"I'm Fine. these stitches are killing me though."

"Been there. It'll get better. By the way, this is Vee."

The guy looked up from his phone. My eyes met his deep green ones. He smiled at me.

"Hey. I'm Vee."

"Marcia."

"Your cousin said you look like him. I don't know how you resemble...this." Vee said, motioning at Jacobs face. I laughed as Vee punched him.

"Hope you feel better though. Heared you were in an accident with your best friend."

"Yeah. And I feel much better."

WAIT, WAIT, WAIT !!

DID HE JUST SAY MY BESTFRIEND!?!?

OH, FUCK! PRINCESS!!

My body jolted up.

"Where's Princess?"

"Amazing job, Vee." Jacob muttered rubbing his temples. "Marcia, she's alright. She's still in her room."

Before I could say another thing, my parents walked in. Mom looked like she'd been crying. I heard a sigh of relief from my dad. Mom hugged me.

"Mom, I told you to stop crying. I'm OK."

"How does your head feel?"

"A lot better. Just a slight dizziness. I'm fine. Please stop worrying."

She nodded and pushed strands of my hair behind my ear.

"Marcia, what do you remember before the car crashed?" Dad asked. Why did he bring this up?

"Umm...well, we were laughing, and then we heard loud screeching and crashing ahead of us. We both tried looking at what was happening. Then I was trying to look out my window...cuz I saw...five...no...six men dressed in pure black. then...then...the driver took a sharp turn, and I...I hit my head."

Dad's eyes widened slightly.

"Wait, Marcia, you saw some men in black...doing what?"

"I dunno. They were just standing still like they were waiting for something. Dad, do you know them?"

"I may. But...in the limo you and Princess were inside......your bags were in the trunk right?"

"Yes."

"Well, Marcia, after the accident, your bags were...gone." He explained.

I heard the door open. I looked up and saw Princess walk in. She held her long drip pole. Her hair was pulled back and packed loosely. A bandage around her fore head was stained with blood at a spot. I smiled. A few seconds later, she hugged me.

I hugged back.

"I'm Sorry." She apologized softly.

"Come on. There's no need for that." I say. Why was she apologizing? Not her fault, and we were both in the car.

I was so glad she was ok. Before I passed out, I had seen broken glass landing on her arm. I looked at the spot. it was now nothing but a covered wound. I had been so worried. My mom pecked my fore head , then Princess'. She then held my dad's arm and led him out side. Jacob stroked my cheek softly before walking out with Vee, who gave me a smile.

Princess turned to me.

"Marcia, don't think I did not notice that blondy with green eyes. I blushed.

"He's Jacob's friend. Princess, there's something wrong."

"With what?"

"Well, the accident."

"Tell me about it. You know that look someone has when they have an idea of some thing, but they're not so sure and they're mad about it?"

"Yes."

"Well, instead of shock and sorrow and complete hope for his daughter not to die, my dad had that look."

"My dad just told me our bags went missing from the trunk of the car."

"Our bags. Went missing after the accident?"

"Yeah. And then before the car crashed, I saw some men dressed in black. They didn't look stunned by the accident, and they were watching us. They kept staring at our car, and had that waiting sense." I explained.

"For Fucks sake, I had the new lip gloss Leo gave me in that bag."

"Princess! I'm sorry for your lip gloss loss, but some one just tried to take our lives."

"Sorry. Trying to lighten the mood. But, Marcia I don't think you should say OUR."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean if someone really targeted my dads cars, then they targeted me. And-"

"Princess, what the fuck? Now listen to me. You're my best friend. They mess with you, they mess with me. They mess with me, they mess with you. They mess with us, we all gonna be buying black dresses for a funeral." I stated and she chuckled. I continued, "Seriously, anything you're going through, I'm going through it too."

I smiled as a tear rolled down her cheek. She hugged me.

"You should become a motivational speaker." She said and I laughed.

"I would kill people, Princess."

"Not me and green eyes..." She said. I hit her neck playfully.

Just me and her, on a hospital bed. After almost losing our lives.

This was us. Just being us, even after the most drastic moments. When we were eight, Princess, Leo, and I were playing a game where we jump across a small brook. The person who lands furthest across the brook sets a new record. Then Leo tried to reach a certain flower quite far away. Don't ask how, Leo fell and bashed his head against a rock. He was bleeding. You would expect every normal child to run to their parents, instead, Princess and I got mud and suggested moulding his head back in place.

I laughed at the memory.

"Are we gonna ask your dad if he knows something about the accident?" I asked after a while.

"Maybe some time after this. I have this feeling he actually has a clue of what happened if we were actually set up, and I don't think it will be ok to just tell him when things are still...crazy."

"Have you seen Leo?"

"Yes. He had to leave, but asked me to tell you sorry, and he hopes you feel better."

"I won't once the anesthetics wears off."

"Don't worry, we'll face the pain together."

"We'll go through every thing together." I assured her.

A/N: So sorry for the late update. I guess I explained my MODEM situation. I'll try to keep up. Cuz school is like a time and attention sucking vacuum. Hope you liked it.
