Jayce's POV
I laughed. I had barely touched my food, but I had laughed so many times because of Janelle's stories.
"Jayce, stop laughing. I'm serious."
"That doesn't sound so serious." I replied, stifling another laugh.
"How? She wanted to murder me."
I had to laugh again.
"Janelle, you said she already had the pole with her."
"Yes, and she threw it at me."
"It was kinda your fault."
"Nuh uh. Little misunderstanding. Let me put it like this. We all arrived at class and we were asked to pick our poles. Well, the previous week, I put a butterfly sticker on mine and then I didn't know she had put one on hers as well. The only difference being that my butterfly was black and hers was purple. So when I saw a butterfly on the pole she was holding, I forgot to check the one in MY hand and then I asked her to give it to me. Believe me, I was polite. Very polite. Then she said 'OK' and THREW the pole at me. The thing missed my head by two cm."
"Exactly, you didn't check the one in your hand."
"Even if I did, it wouldn't change the fact that the girl is MAJORLY psychotic. She still has a beef with me for being paired with her crush. Enough about my boring ballet classes. What about you?"
"Me?"
"Yes, you."
"What do you wanna know?"
"Do you have a girlfriend?"
"No."
"Why?"
"Just...don't have one."
"OMG. My big brother is a player."
"I'm not a player." I denied. Her left brow quirked up in an accusing way. "OK. Maybe." I corrected.
"In my school, every one is dying to be even INVITED to the parties the Bad boys hold. And my brother is one. We should take a selfie. Do you throw parties?"
"Once in a while."
"Do you do drugs?"
"Some."
"You've had sex?"
"Personal."
"People call you hot?"
"A lot."
"Do you fail in academics?"
"No."
"You have bad boy friends?"
"I guess."
"You do sports?"
"Yeah."
"Which one?"
"Basket ball and soccer."
"Are you the captain of one?"
"Basket ball."
"Do you have a crush?"
"No."
"You are my dream boy friend."
I rose my eyes from the drink I was about to take a sip out of and looked at her. She giggled because of the look I was giving her.
"Janelle."
"No. I mean, if there was a guy with same...ok, NEARLY same personality as you, I would love to love him."
"I thought you were fourteen."
