VI. Late

Hanna

Saying I slept good last night would be a big lie. 

I didn't get any sleep at all.

I've been here what? four days maybe? and I'm already on someone's radar. Wow.

Flashback from yesterday.

Jay sighs. "There were some things written on the wall on outside of the house."

"Some things, as in my name again?" 

"No, i don't even understand  why would they do that...wait"  Jay said, his face confronted in confusion before realizing.  "That's it!" Jay gasps, his eyes widening. 

"Oh come on, just tell me" I grumble, tired of everything already. I just want to go to sleep. Come on.

"Possibly it could've been just to redirect us, while the real thing happened to you?"  Such a smart ass. If he had just realized that earlier. "But how could they know that..." 

"Know what?" I ask Jay. "Tell me." Man I'm too exhausted to even think.

"That Niki would be so drunk, he would be unconscious, that I would leave you here to check..."  Okay. That's creepy.

Flashback ends.

I don't want to jump to conclusions, but Jay sounded a bit too much like a genius. As in other words potential suspect. Besides how long have I known him for? Minutes, hours, only. From flirting to the guy possibly being a psycho? But I shouldn't do that. I can't know for sure. It's not even that big of a deal, even if he was. I mean, he hasn't killed anyone yet? Right?

I look around the room I've "slept" in. I didn't really feel like going somewhere and besides Jay suggested for me to stay here, saying he has plenty of other guest rooms where I can stay the night. So I stayed. I can see the bedroom more clearly now since the sun, shining through the big window, illuminates the room and all its probably really expensive furniture. Beige with bits of shine walls are matched with old white wood furniture, not too much though to give clean and minimalist look. 

Suddenly someone knocks on the door and I let them in. 

"God the headache is killing me" Niki comes into the room while groaning and falls into the bed I've slept in. "Did you know we have school in like what 30 minutes?" Niki mumbles into the sheets. 

Shit.

"You're telling me, that I'm at basically stranger's house, slept minutes last night and it's seven thirty?" 

"It's eight thirty actually" Niki lifts his head of the sheets, mumbles with his eyes basically closed. 

"WHAT" Shit. shit. shit. I'm already on the principal's radar and I believe she said very clearly for me to not get into any trouble. "Where's Heeseung?" I ask Niki, while stomping worriedly around the room with barely charged phone in my hand and last night's clothes on me. 

"Bro, I literally woke up 5 minutes ago and I'm having the worst hangover, and you're asking me that??" Niki shrugs. 

"Ughh" I leave the room and go down the stairs and into the view comes a big living room. It's surprisingly clean, considering there were many people here last night. I smell something and my stomach lets out the loudest noise. I walk towards the smell and see three people, two of them sitting near the counter and talking about something with the person cooking breakfast, that person being Jay. He even cooks. Wow. 

All of them hear my footsteps and turn around. One of them I only know a bit and only because he participates in many school events and is on one of the school walls of the corridor I walked through on my first day. Nominated for something. Didn't really care, so can't remember for what. Now that I have a clear look of him, he kind of reminds me of a cat. Cute cat.

"Hey Hanna, want some breakfast?" Jay asks me with a smile on his face. 

"Do you all not care about school or something?" I ask all of them. 

"We all don't have first classes, It's Jungwon" The cat like guy answers to my question and pops up a small smile. 

"Oh, I would introduce myself, but you probably know my name by now" I smile a little, worry still clearly visible on my face. 

"Don't worry, you won't be late, first two classes has been canceled for all grades" Jay assures me, understanding the situation of being a new student. 

"Why?" I ask again, but this time way calmer. 

"You ask too many questions" Grey haired guy laughs. 

"Rather be safe than sorry, Hee" I admit to the boy sitting near the counter. I look over to the pan and it seems that Jay is making scrambled eggs.

"It smells and looks and probably tastes way better than it should" I joke and Jay and the other guys laugh softly. 

Suddenly we hear footsteps coming closer and it's Niki. 

"Hanna please remind me to never drink that much and-" Niki comes into the kitchen while rubbing his eyes and he stops and looks around seeing too many unfamiliar faces. 

"Oh hey-" Niki glances at the guys and then at me. "I'm Niki, I guess-" My best friend somehow awkwardly introduces himself, still not fully functioning, because of the hangover.  

"I'm Jay, last night's party planner and the cause of all this" Jay says while pointing towards the state of the youngest in the room. 

"I'm Jungwon" The brown haired boy introduces himself again, but this time to Niki. Niki gasps lightly when he remembers something about the boy.

"Oh wait, I know you, you're that guy- who participates everywhere and the teachers adore you sooo much" Niki claps his hands happily, since he remembered something for once. Jungwon just laughs softly, not being able to deny the fact.
