A muffled voice echoes throughout your mind as you slowly regain consciousness. Your eyelids slowly move away from each other until they reveal the scarlet eyes behind them making eye contact with the velvet eyed girl. She smiles at you while sitting beside your bed happy that you're finally awake. Relieved that you're okay.

She gets up and brings a plate of food to you from the small table across the room. She says, "Here, I've brought some food."

You sit up and uncover yourself from the brown blanket. You turn to your left and leave your legs dangling on the side of the bed as you take the plate from her hands.

Steak, rice, and potato.

Food you hadn't eaten for as long as you can remember.

You pick up the fork and begin to slowly eat to enjoy the food in the moment rather than simply stuff it in your face like you usually would.

That near death experience from before truly let you know just how valuable one's life can be so you ought to begin enjoying even the smallest things that life throws at you.

Even though the food right now isn't out of the ordinary you can't help yourself but to smile from just how good is tastes.

After a few moments of silence, you finish eating your food and Amelia takes the plate away from you and puts it on the table across.

She turns back around only to sit back down on her wooden chair.

She stares at you with a worried look on her face.

"You're awfully quiet, you okay?", she asks.

"Yeah, just appreciating things I guess.."

Amelia takes a second to think but ends up responding pretty quickly, "What happened out there?"

Pluto replies in a low tone,"I almost died. I remember that thing's foot crushing me. My life was slipping away from me, I felt it. My mind was blank, my pain faded away, I couldn't move, My eyes were dark, and all that was left were the noises those creatures made.

I was paralyzed, I..

I was afraid.."

Amelia listens to Pluto talk about his near death experience. She can feel his fear of death, and she sees the little boy cowering as if he had no one. So she puts her right hand on his and holds it.

She sits beside him and puts her head on his shoulder to comfort him.

Words would not be enough to reassure the boy, but the act of showing him would.

With no words to respond, Amelia simply stays there with him and he leans his head on hers.

Even though words were not spoken, he knew that this was her way of saying that everything will be fine.

That even though he feels that he's alone, he's not.

The two would stay in this position for a good few minutes until Amelia remembers something.

"Oh that's right!"

"What's wrong?", Pluto asks.

"It's time for you to meet Hecate! She's the person you need to see, right?"

"Yeah apparently that's her."

Amelia lets go Pluto's hand and stands up from his bed and so does Pluto.

She leads the way to this purple wooden door with a gold knob on it, Amelia twists the knob and opens the door leading to this dampened corridor filled with blue fire lit torches with no ends of the hallway to be seen.
