Mumbling of a voice that speaks throughout your subconscious mind, you can barely tell what it's saying. Darkness is what has consumed your line of sight, but you can see a small spec of white light off in the distance slowly growing in size and shining brighter. You curiously observe it and begin to take a few steps while reaching out for it. As you continue to walk forward the voice becomes clearer and clearer. The voice that you hear, becomes audible..a feminine voice so gentle that it puts you at ease. The light getting closer to you, you can hear her speak, "I...
I see you.."
You look around the abyss of darkness that is your mind, searching for the source of the voice only to realize that it's coming from the light. You sprint towards the white and reach out for it. Her voice echoes through you and says, "I see you, my son.." You reach out for the light as you run, and your breathing becomes faster. You dread to see her, and a single tear falls from your left eye. You yell to the top of your lungs shaking the dream world, and the light engulfs you. As you've become blinded by the white you hear her voice once more, "I'm sorry.."
Pluto's POV:
I wake up to my arm reaching out for the chandelier hanging from the ceiling. I lower my arm down and sit up to look around. There are twelve other beds just like mine across this giant room with gold walls, there are only two other people including myself that is until a man with brown short wavy hair, and black eyes walks up to me with a cup of water and asks, "Care for a drink?" He puts the cup in front of me and I take it without hesitation. I open my mouth and drink it, the water flowing in my throat feels satisfying. After I finish drinking the water, I give the cup back to the doctor. He grabs it and asks, "Well, how are you feeling?" I reply, "I feel pretty good, I don't feel tired or hurt."
He nods and says, "Alright well that means you're good to go, champion." He walks away from me, and I proceed to sit on the edge of the bed. I raise my hand in front of my face looking at it, just to simply gaze at how I was able to use my powers with it. "So it's finally over, huh?", I thought to myself. I get up from the bed and look around trying to find Zephilious so that we can move on to the next step. I look at the bed next to mine, and notice a very familiar face. His green eyes looking straight at mine, his blue goatee sticking out almost as if pointing at me, and his head tilted in my direction. He sits up, and sits in front of me on the edge of his own bed. "What? Are you just going to stare at me?", asks Atlas. Still looking at him, I'm trying to think about what to say, but honestly I have no clue.
Instead, I look down to the floor with no words to say. I clasp my hands together and rub my thumbs trying to ease this little awkward feeling that's been building up. His bed creaking, Atlas stands up and says, "Come on, let's meet up with Zurich." I look back up at him with an eyebrow raised and ask, "What? Why?" He doesn't respond, but instead just heads towards the door leading out into a hall. I stay in the room for a couple of seconds and look around, I notice someone on the other side of the room looking at me, her crimson hair and her plant arm were the first things that caught my eye, it's Amelia. She dashes straight towards me while yelling out my name and waving her arms in the air like some sort of maniac. "Honestly, just what is this girl?", I thought to myself while chuckling.
She comes to a stop in front of me, and has this very happy look on her face. She claps her hands multiple times and hops up and down in excitement. "PLUTO!!! I HEARD THE NEWS FROM ZEPHILIOUS!! YOU WON!! AH HA HA HA!!" She excitingly exclaims. I awkwardly chuckle and rub the back of my hair, "Yeah, I guess so..hehe." She clenches her fist and puts it on my chest, all of a sudden she has this fiery look on her face almost as if determined. "Next time, I won't be so weak! I WON'T LOSE SO EASILY GOT IT?! I'LL WIN!! HA HA!" I smirk and reply, "I won't doubt that, not even for a second." I turn around and head towards the door leading outside, and Amelia follows me while happily hopping.
