"No takemichi!" Mikey slightly screams as he opens his eyes. He composes himself as to not alert his mitchy and closes his eyes again. He takes slow breaths as he turns around to cuddle closer to his lover.

Only to find that the body that should be there is not there. He stretches out his arm to tap around the bed but to his dismay he couldn't find him.

He immediately opens his eyes as they slowly adjust to the dark as he looks at every corner for a moving body. He quickly gets up slightly panicked at no sight of his lover.

"Mitchy?" He whispers as he rushes towards the bathroom door pushing the door with force and was even more worried to find no one there.

"MITCHY" he runs down the stairs into the hallway as he sees some light in the kitchen with a shadow sitting in the chair.

Takemichi turns around to find a very worried Mikey who in an instant was in front of him breathing heavily.

"Mikey? Are you okay?" Says takemichi with concern all over his face. Takemichi sees Mikey relax a bit as the other leans down to hug him resting his head on his shoulder.

"Nightmares?"

".....Nightmares"

"sit down" mitchy says as he gets up and lets Mikey sit. He walks over to the other chair but Mikey holds his hand.

"Hey, I'll be here only okay?" Takemichi softly tells the other "Okay" Mikey let's go of his hand. Takemichi takes a chair near and pulls it close to mikey. He sits facing the boy and grabs the other's hvand.

"Wanna talk about it?" asks takemichi as he sits beside the other. The other boy slowly nods as he looks away before saying "you died" it was barely audible but he heard it.

'That was the complete gist of it' Mikey thought as he looked over at takemichi who looked at him with calculative eyes. Searching his for what? He didn't know. He waited for takemitchy to speak again.

"You wanna tell me about it or...?" Whispers takemichi after registering the words.

Mikey shaked his head slowly as he pulled the takemichi to his lap before lying his head on the other. They held each other for sometime in a comfortable silence, takemichi kissed Mikey's face and played with his hair before it was broken by Mikey.

"What about you?"

"I just woke up for some water" the other says with a nervous smile.

"Don't lie darling I know you mitchy" Mikey's voice on his neck sent shivers to him.

"Well..

Takemichi breathes heavily as his eyes open. He turned around to look at the blond sleeping near him. The said boy was sound asleep.

Takemichi watches as Mikey's chest moves up and down as he breathes in and out a reminder that they are both still alive and well.

It's something he's saying in his head as a mantra quite frequently. Many nightmares paved a pathway to his mind to never let him rest.
