600 Hours

I wake up groggy, opening my eyes in the slowest motion possible. My vision was blurry and I was looking at the ceiling in a wary glance. I rubbed my eyes gently with my hands, yawning greatly and stretching in my bed, causing me to have a sudden surge of adrenaline to get up.

My mind blanks for a few moments, confused on who I was, where I was, and how I even got here. However, all of the memories quickly flooded back to me in an instant, like a sharp needle being inserted into your surfacing skin.

The dream, the ghost, the food fight in the mess, everything that was a pile of events stuck in the back of my mind quickly came back to me like a chaotic tsunami. My mind felt a sharp pain for a second at these thoughts, but then I relaxed a little at the ease it soon gives off within seconds.

Right now, using my uncanny ability and knowledge to know exactly what time it is without a clock, It was 6:00 Am. I should have tried to get back to sleep, only because of the state my mind was in right now, but I decided to stay up and get ready for the day.

The sun showed a crisp color of orange and the sky still showed a bathed atmosphere of dark black. The sky, however, was slowly turning into a horizon of flashing orange colors to represent dawn. The dark colors of orange and black danced into my room as I laid in bed for a few moments.

I then quickly tumble out of my cheap bed into a standing position, yawning tiredly and covering my mouth. I walk over to my small, brown, and raggedy desk to find a small white note written in some very poor handwriting. The note had my schedule, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner in between.

I squinted through my schedule, striving to read its contents through my restlessness to get up and move.

First: History of Superpowers with Mrs. Canda.

Second: P.E with Mr. Riley.

 Third: Self-Preservation with Mr. Crandall.

Fourth: Superpower Training with Mr. Dewdrop.

Fifth: Coding with Mrs. Andrew.

Sixth: Advanced Mathematics with Mrs. Kelly.

Seventh: Interrogation and Reduce to Pain with Mr. Conner.

Eighth: Explosives and Weaponry Training with Ms. Glacé.

As I slowly looked through my schedule with eyes peeled open with exhaustion and curiosity, it looks like a pretty big schedule, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner in between all of the mess. However, we were in a practical boarding school. We couldn't really go anywhere out anyway, so the smartest decision is to keep us here.

I realized that my first class is at 8:00 am, so I had to currently get ready and have breakfast down at the mess. I mean, I was starving. I check the time for breakfast and it starts at 6:30 am, leaving me with about 30 minutes of free time.

Since I had 30 minutes until I could go down to the mess to eat, I decide to walk over to Mike's dormitory room. I'm just hoping that he's awake, because I don't want to barge in. I would probably just tease him about his power or just play some games for the meantime until we could go down to the mess to eat.

I open my door and a breeze fills the long and stretching hallway for the first year's dormitories. I got myself ready and put on my shoes, brushed my light brown hair to the side, brushed my teeth, and walked out. The towering and bright lights were still on in the hallway so I didn't have to worry about not being able to see.
