Okay fine! I lied But this is definitely the last chapter I update today! PROMISE!
"Uh...thanks for coming guys," Scott says, standing up in front of the whole pack. He looked towards Stiles and smiled. Stiles gave him a thumbs up.
Derek, Marcus, Brett, Mason, Stiles, Lydia, Kira, Malia, Liam, Scott, hell even Peter. They all stood in Derek's loft, waiting for Scott to speak.
"Well, first, I want to say that younger Derek...or Miguel..." Scott glares at Stiles and he winks, smiling. "...has left."
Everyone looks at each other. "Where'd he go?" Malia asks.
"I don't know. He just said that he needed to resolve everything. I don't know what he'll do...I honestly don't." Scott cleared his throat.
"Anyway, everyone knows their job tonight. Kira, Stiles, Liam, and I are gonna be at the game. No reason to waste a good game because of a few flaws. Plus playing would draw even less attention to ourselves, which is good. Marcus and Mason are gonna stay behind so Mason doesn't sleepwalk over to the scene and get himself killed."
"Gee thanks," Mason says sarcastically.
"You know what I mean," Scott says. "Derek and Malia are going to hide in the trees near the meeting sight so they can watch what's going on."
Peter clears his throat. Scott rolls his eyes. "And Peter will be there too."
"What about us?" Brett and Lydia say it at the same time. They look at each other curiously.
"I need you two to stay in the school. We're all gonna be close so if something goes wrong, I need you both to be able to get away and get help."
"Oh please." Lydia scoffs. "What's the real reason?"
Scott sighs and looks up. "Lydia, I want you to find Danny and convince him to try and hack into the Jacks system. And I need Brett there to protect you," Scott admits.
Lydia thinks before responding. "I can deal with that. Is that all?"
Scott sighs. "No." He takes a deep breath before saying what he has to say. "I usually don't do this before a big fight. Well, nothing this extreme anyway. But I'm doing it now. A lot has happened in the past few weeks and I just want to clarify, that Stiles is no longer in charge. I am. I know what happened and although I think that it wasn't a good idea, it was efficient. But I want you to know, that you put yourselves in danger every day for the people you love. And although they don't ask you to do it, you do it anyway. But I don't want any of you to die, not because of me, not because of anyone. I care so much about all of you that I might just do anything. The thought of any of you dead would be too much for me to handle. That's why I got so mad about Isaac. It's not because he's my boyfriend, it's because he's my pack. And I don't care if we beat these people or if we all get kidnapped or die...all that matters is that I die with you," Scott takes a deep shallow breath, on the verge of tears. "That I die with my pack."
They were all silent.
Stiles smiles. "Now let's go kick some asses."
"Hey, how ya feelin'?" Drex looks over at Isaac who walks in unison with the rest of the people, his hands tied together. The Jacks had knives pointed at him in case he decided to run.
Isaac sighed. "Could be better."
"Relax, it's gonna work out," Drex encourages. He clutches the evil book in his hands closely. "At least I hope so," he mutters.
"Alright you low lives! The game starts in a few minutes and I don't wanna see ballerinas on that field! I wanna see strong, athletic...fairly good looking players out on that field tonight do you hear me!?" Coach yells in the locker room. The team yells 'yeah' in unison. "Then I want you to get out on that field! And I want you to win!" The team starts shouting and cheering and Coach starts screaming again.
Liam leans over to Stiles. "You think Isaac's okay?" he asks in the middle of all the chaos.
Stiles scoffs. "You think Scott's okay?" Stiles asks back.
Liam looks down, thinking. "Is Kira okay?" he asks, hoping Stiles knew what he meant.
"Oh! What, about Lydia? You know with...yeah," Stiles says.
Liam looked Stiles in the eyes. "Are we okay?" His voice was sincere.
Stiles sighed and grabbed Liam's hand. "Are any of us okay?"
Kira walks over to us. "Hey, shouldn't Danny be back by now? He said he promised Coach to help out on the sidelines during the game since he can't play."
Liam and Stiles look at each other and shrug.
"Guys I've gotta go!" Danny complained but Lydia sat him back down again.
"Please Danny. I need your help. We need your help," Lydia gestures to Brett also and he rolls his eyes.
Danny sighs. "The game starts in a few minutes. I can't afford to miss it. Coach will kill me."
"Well you won't miss it if you type faster," Lydia begged.
Danny sighed and typed on the computer quickly, scanning it. "Is this what you're looking for?" Danny scoots back and lets Lydia and Brett look at the computer. They could hear shuffling feet but all they saw was darkness. They all stayed silent and waited to hear them say anything.
"We're almost there Theo. Soon we'll have the alpha in our grasp." The muffled voice comes from the computer. Lydia breathes out a sigh of relief.
"Can I go now?" Danny asks.
"Yes Danny you're free to go," Lydia confirms and he rolls his eyes, walking out of the school. Lydia turns back to the laptop, worried.
"Drex said he would fix the problem, that doesn't sound like he fixed the problem," Lydia says nervously.
"Let's go out and watch the game. We can bring the laptop and watch from there, so we can see and hear what's going on also, and update Scott," Brett suggests.
"Good idea." Lydia sighs. "Ya know, I always knew I was the brain behind the operation." She smiled. Brett rolled his eyes and grabbed the laptop.
"Yeah...right."
Well...this is it. FOR TONIGHT THOUGH! I'll probably update more tomorrow. But I'm still sad. God I feel so vague right about now. OH WELL! Bye my puppy gooses! :*
