“Would you stop pacing?! You're making me freak out!” Mason admits, sitting on the bed nervously while Liam paces in a frenzy.
Liam stops his pacing to yell at Mason. “You should be freaking out Mason! They could be dead by now!” Liam says nervously. “I mean w-what if they got them and cut their heads off?! Or fed them to wolves?! Or poisoned them to make them kill each other?!”
Mason shoots up. “Shut up Liam! It's not your fault for what happened it's that book's fault!”
“I'm the one who took it….it is my fault,” Liam admits, sitting on the hotel bed.
Mason sighs and sits next to him. “No it's not. If you hadn't picked up that book, we wouldn't be as close as we are now to killing these things,”
Liam lets out a hardy laugh. “Close? No way. We only have two pages Mason,”
Mason smiles. “So then lets get more. I don't care what that book does. It's worth it to save our friends,” Mason says.
And Liam knows that he's right. They walk over to the book. “Get comfortable. We're gonna be here for a while,” Liam says to Mason. They smile.
