Oh sh*t. This is it. I really loved being in this whole new world of fan-fiction writing, but I believe this is it. The LAST chapter. I've been updating in clumps, and now I wish I hadn't. I probably gave you guys anxiety and I apologize for my lack of organization. But please...please...remember me when I'm gone. Writing this book really opened up my mind to bigger and better things. I'm working on a series right now, well, two actually. The one already on Wattpad and another one. The other one that's not on Wattpad is about after death and evolution. It's a really neat read in my opinion, and I've been working on it so much that I'm almost to the last book and I don't want it to end. But when I do post it on Wattpad I hope y'all will tune in. Trust me, finishing this book hurt a lot. Finishing ANYTHING hurts a lot. But I really do luv you guys to death and...I don't know what else to say...enjoy these more important words.
The stones and roses.
The grass.
The smell of death.
Everyone joined together to go to Mason's funeral. It was a moment that no one wanted to miss.
No one made a sound except for his mother who broke down in tears. Liam stayed a while longer after the service to say a proper goodbye.
He leaned down next to the tombstone and cried, touching the cool stone. "You were a brother to me...and now you're gone." Liam takes deep breaths, calming himself.
"I wish I could've helped them...I wish I could've helped you," he whispers. He smiles at it.
"Remember when we were six, and you wanted to ride the neighbor's skateboard?" Liam pauses for a response that never comes. "I knew you'd get hurt but I thought maybe you'd be okay, that maybe there would be some kind of miracle and it would all work out. So I let you." He composes himself before continuing. "A-and you were doing great, but then you lost control and fell. You bruised your knees and elbows real bad. You even broke your wrist...and it was all my fault. I should've stopped you then...I should've stopped you now." Liam broke down in front of the non-living object and grabbed the dirt angrily.
"Liam." Liam turns slightly and sees Stiles standing a few feet behind him. "It's time to go." He gulped.
Liam closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He patted the ground. "Goodbye Mason...I'll always love you like a brother," he whispered and sniffled. He stood up slowly, taking his time before abandoning his friend.
He turned to a guilty looking Stiles and nodded. They walked together to his Jeep and drove off.
At that moment, Liam got a good look at Stiles.
He didn't see him as he did before...he saw him as a new person. But he couldn't place who this new guy was, not quite.
They stopped at Scott's house and Liam got out. He looked at Stiles with a look of gratitude. At this point, Liam was scared to get intimate...not right now.
"Thanks," Liam muttered before walking inside the house. He shut the door behind him and turned to see Scott standing only a few feet from him. "Hey Scott." Liam barely got the words out before Scott crushed him in a hug.
"I'm so sorry," Scott whispered.
Liam had heard that all day, non-stop, even from his parents. He was sick and tired of the three words that didn't mean shit to anyone anymore since they were only used by people who didn't know what else to say.
But this was Scott McCall.
So instead Liam just settled on the classic answer, "I know."
Scott let go and asked Liam if he wanted to see a movie. He denied and told Scott he just wanted to lie down.
And so he did, all alone...but being alone wasn't what he needed.
He needed family...
He needed a pack.
Marcus had fallen asleep next to Malia and Derek walked by, putting a blanket over his two younger cousins. He walked away in silence. Marcus touched Malia's hand ever so slightly, and Malia clutched Marcus' and they both sighed in relief. Their hands stayed liked that, intertwined with each other, until death do them part.
Kira woke up in Lydia's bed and turned over. Lydia's brilliant face shined in the sunlight coming from her window. Kira smiled and stroked Lydia's sleeping face. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled back. They got even closer and touched noises. And simultaneously they side, "My ray of sunshine."
Scott nuzzled into Isaac. Isaac turned and looked directly at Scott. They stared at each other. Isaac's crystal blue ones against Scott's wide hypnotizing orbs. They stayed in passion because they both knew words could never express what was truly inside them, so they settled on, "Don't ever leave me again."
Derek sat at his desk, typing on his laptop. He was so intrigued by his findings that he never even realized how late it was. Eventually he read a story so grueling he had to shut it off and go to bed. The thought of him or anyone else going through that gave him shivers. Derek didn't know that suicide was such a bad way to go...not until now.
Brett woke up next to a complete stranger. His clothes were off and on the floor and he sat up in the strange bed feeling sore, he looked over at the boy slightly shorter than him. His eyes widened, he was a spitting image of Mason. That's when Brett let his tears flow freely.
Liam woke up suddenly in the middle of the night, the thunderstorm outside his windows startling him awake. He kept having nightmares about death, something to scary to let consume your life. He thought of Mason.
He had barely lived.
That's when Liam's mind was set. He threw on a shirt and tried to put on shoes but he couldn't find them so he went barefoot. Liam ran downstairs and he ran out of the house. The rain poured onto his face, giving the warm feeling of summer yet the nippy feeling of winter. Light flashed across the sky and Liam flinched. But with that light, Liam found a figure in the middle of the road. He squinted and then his eyes widened again when he realized it was Stiles.
He ran to him, faster than he ever ran for any other person, even as a werewolf. Nothing else in the world mattered.
Stiles held out his arms and embraced Liam, his lips crashing into the other's pair.
"I love you," Stiles and Liam said in sync.
No...
As one.
That's when Liam finally found out who the guy he was kissing really was.
It was Stiles Stilinski, the love of Liam's life.
Oh shit...here I go. Funny how I'm probably the most emotional about this book ending, and I'm the author! Huh...funny. Well, bye EVERYONE! Your Blue Spider will be forever in the dark side of your room. ;*
