POV: remember
"Hey remember!" Maddie yells from the other side of the lunch room. I walk over to her table, I wonder why she's sitting alone.
"Hey " I say setting down my lunch tray.
"Okay so let's get to the point" she says taking a sip of her water, "There's a party and you are going"
"R-really?" I stutter, "I have to ask Caiden to go because I can't go to a party without my boyfriend" I say emphasizing the word boyfriend.
But maddie isn't paying attention she's looking around the lunch room.
"Who are you looking for?" I say grinning ear to ear.
"Oh.. It's no one" she say looking down at the table.
"Come onnnnn!" I say "Please tell me I want to help you!"
"It's just Greg, I just... Liked his shirt and wanted to know where I could get it.."
"Maddie..." I say laughing "His shirt has a girl in a bikini on it.." I stand up and walk to Greg, I've talked to him a few times so maybe this won't be awkward.
"Are you going to the party?" I say blandly.
Greg looks at his friends and then at me."Yeah why" he say with a half smile.
"My friend wanted to know" I say turning around and sitting down next
to Maddie, her face as red as a tomato.
"Why did you do that" she says grinding her teeth.
All I do is smile.
This party will be better.
