I walk into school In Caiden's jacket, And my black jeans. I want to be completely covered up.
Caiden walks by my side, looking at me with an, are you okay? Expression covering his face.
I give the best smile I can, and keep walking.
It feels like years have gone by when lunch finally arrives. I see Maddie and slowly walk towards her checking for signs of Tyler.
I sit next to her and give her the smile I gave Caiden this morning. "I am so sorry Remember" you could see the tears in her eyes, "I know it's not an excuse, but Tyler was drunk and... I don't know why he did it but trust me, he's going to get mad punishment from our dad."
I had to be strong.
Don't.
Cry.
"Thanks maddie, I would like to talk to Tyler if that's okay? Just to show him that it was wrong and that I-i...
Forgive him."Maddie looks at me like I just murdered an infant. "Um.. Ye-yeah, that's perfectly fine, are you sure you want to do this?"
I look down at the untouched food on my plate.
"I'm sure."
-•-Caiden is with me.
He absolutely would not let me go talk to Tyler by myself. "You need someone there for you" he says stopping at the stop sign.
"Why do you act like we are actually dating?" I say a little to loud.
Caiden doesn't say anything for a while.
"I've known you for a long time, I'm just trying to protect you."-•-
Caiden waits in the car as I walk into maddie and Tyler's house.
I feel my anxiety starting to act up, my breaths are short and I need air.
I run outside to the pool area, and to my surprise, Tyler is sitting in the chair tanning. I walk up to him slowly.
"Hi Tyler."
I say still trying to catch my breath.
Tyler looks up, his eyes blood red.
He's drunk.
He stands up and walks towards me.
I back away."Help."
I scream but only get the 'h' out as he puts his hands over my mouth.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Is all Tyler says, over and over and over again.I'm not going to let this happen.
I push Tyler away but it doesn't do anything because my arms are so weak.
I see a glass of beer and wait till Tyler shuts his eyes or looks away or something!
Tyler is starting to take off my shirt when I grab the bottle and smash it over his head.
And then I run.
