Getting to know the new kid

After I tell them my name and quirk it is silent for a total of three seconds before all hell breaks loose. And by hell I mean the dam of questions that basically got thrown at me. At least 4 or 5 people were asking questions all at once so I really couldn't focus on just one question. I'm pretty sure All-Might could see I was getting overwhelmed by all of this so he intervened.

"Everybody please calm down. Jason can't even answer one question because he's not getting the chance. If you have a question to ask him, please calmly raise your hand and wait for him to call you."

I give All-Might a silent 'Thank you' and turn back to the class that has now gone quiet with people raising their hands waiting for me to pick on them to answer their questions. I look around for a couple of seconds and then point out a pink haired girl that's sitting in the middle of the classroom.

"You with the pink hair. I'm sorry I don't know your name so I can't call on you correctly." I scratch the back of my head in embarrassment.

"That's okay. My name is Mina Ashido and my quirk is called 'Acid'. Anyway, my question is what were the quirks of your family like."

"Oh, um. My mom had a metal type quirk that was called 'Metal Bender'. It allowed her to bend any type of material to her will as long as it had some type of metal in it. She mostly used it to help make jewelry, metal sculptures, and there were a few times where she was asked by heroes to help in some rescue missions. Since she was the only person that could bend any kind of metal to her will. My dad had a wing type quirk called 'Angelic Calling'. He had a single pair of pure white wings that he could use to fly and he could use to heal people. Anybody who he touched with his wings or if they touched his wings on their own he could heal them. When my quirk made itself known I ended up getting a combo quirk from both of their quirks. Hence why my quirk is called 'Imperial Wings'."

She nodded her head in understanding and I called on someone else.

"You, with yellow hair and a black lightning bolt in it. What's your question."

"The name's Denki Kaminari and my quirk is called 'Electrification'. My question is what are your drawbacks? Mine is when I use to much of my quirk at once I go into a 'yee' mode."

"'Yee' mode?" I ask him back instead of answering.

"Yeah 'yee' mode. I basically go dumb because of how much I use my quirk."

"I wouldn't say dumb. What I think happens is that because of your quirk being the way that it is, you have a limiter of sorts. Your body and brain can take a bigger amount of electricity than other people because of your quirk. So when you go over that limit instead of it causing your body to go into shock your brain ends up getting affected by the excess amount of electricity. But it doesn't cause damage it just muddles your brain to a certain amount." I tell him trying to help him understand what happens to his body and brain.

"Oh. Well when it gets put like that, I actually understand that. Wow you're amazing. Also, you didn't answer my question."

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to ignore it. To answer your question yes I do have drawbacks. My drawbacks can be very serious and hurtful to my body though. For me to show you my first drawback let me do this."

I then take 20 feathers from my wings and pass them around the class, I make sure each feather is soft before I pass them around.

"You all see how light my feather is right now right?" I ask, directing my question to the entire class. To which they all agree by nodding their heads at me.

"Okay. Now when I do this, everybody must have their feather sitting absolutely still in their hand. If I see that somebody doesn't have their's sitting still I won't continue. I mean this in all seriousness."
